The children can go back & play until your party time ends.

Sign up for each week- we have a new curriculum each week! Kids will enjoy 4 hours of Art and Art related Activities! Day Camp is a drop off program & for ages 4 and older. Each day includes a variety of Cookies & Canvas event, One Day Workshop, OR Pottery Painting & Open Studio time. Most projects will go home same day. (If they have pottery painting that day, they will need to be picked up following week) Kids enjoy stations as well as several art projects during their 4 hours of fun at the Art Studio! Groups separated by age under K-4 grades, 5-8 grades. Bring peanut free sack lunch, snack & water bottle. Please dress for the weather- as we do take a walk in the neighborhood and eat in the garden on days when we can.

We will be coming together to make crafts, eat pizza and enjoy a rocking movie to bring the year to an end. Our pizza nights include creative time and dinner from our beloved local Bernal Hill Pizza shop. Please remember to consider any potential sensitivities your child could have to a particular movie. Also we are always happy to adhere to any dietary restrictions, allergies or any other sensitivities. All are welcome.

Welcome to Footsteps Full Day Camp at Nesbit! **Enrollment is included with a minimum of 3 days per week enrollment. If you are not enrolled full time, please add the drop in fee listed on the extras tab** Full Day Camp at Footsteps includes fun and educational activities. The typical day includes indoor and outdoor choices with arts & crafts, games, sports, wheels*, gardening, and activity clubs. Two healthy snacks are included each day, optional pizza lunch is available to pre-purchase under extras for $8. Otherwise, plan on bringing a healthy lunch. *Children are allowed to bring bikes, scooters, and other non-motorized wheels to ride during the day. Helmets and other safety gear must be worn, and children may only use the items they bring.

Eva Jospin Paper Relief: In this lesson students will be learning all about the french sculptor, Eva Jospin. Known for her cardboard creations of architecture and nature, Jospin creates captivating relief with intricate detail. Students will mimic this effect with a cardboard paper relief of a wooded forest. This weekly 2-hour class is a great option for kids looking to move ahead with their artistic talents. Students can choose to come on Tuesdays, or Thursdays, or both! Whatever works best for your schedule. The students are given more independence and freedom to be creative with the projects, and they have more autonomy in how their projects go. Projects often run for 3-4 weeks to give students the extra time to create a really impressive piece. Recommended for ages 10-16.

These children are in the prime of PLAY! They are imagining, creating, and becoming independent learners. What to expect in class: Engaging themes like outer space, animals, and bugs continue to foster imagination and allow adults and children to play together, building confidence and trust. Parent/child play time is followed by a gentle separation time where children are engaged by expert teachers in social activities and brain games like puzzles, playdough, and storytime. Class ends with celebration and the return of the adults, reminding children that adults always come back! Benefits: Physical: Children get ample time on our equipment, building gross motor skills, coordination, and balance. During separation time we will focus on fine motor skills, pre-writing skills, and dexterity (like threading a bead on a string). Cognitive: Problem-solving, reasoning, and play all support your child’s brain development during this class. Social: Practice social skills necessary for school readiness in a safe and playful way! Collaboration, turn-taking, and sharing are all practiced during our class with and without our adult guides. Where they are: These babies are on the move! Crawling, cruising, rolling, sitting, ready to explore anything and everything. What to expect in class: We boogie down with our babies, get up and dance, give them baby massages, sing them songs, and explore new physical challenges every week through teacher-led activities on the equipment. Explore tummy time from a new perspective or on a new texture, slide down slides on soft lambskins, or take a ride in a gentle swing! Play as a group and socialize with others! Sing songs, learn a routine, and PLAY!

This imaginary and motor skill based class is suitable for children that have strong verbal skills (a minimum of 50 spontaneous words and string 3 -5 words together), initiate imaginary play, enjoy sitting for story time and following imaginary games. If your child is not quite ready for the Explorer's Class, book the Runner's Class! Your child will do best in a class that they are most comfortable in, while mastering their developmental milestones! Classes are teacher led and caregiver guided. If the the class is full, be sure to add yourself to the wait list so that we can notify you of cancellations or add other options!

Build strength through play! Songs, props, and teacher-led activities provide babies with an engaging class experience, while giving parents fun tips and tools they can take home.
