One of the amazing things that kids learn at CHOW is how to put on a coat:

"Place the coat on the floor with the inside facing up...and then flip it over your head as you stand up. Voila! All warm and ready to go!"

That is exactly what our daughter Tessa did this morning--for the first time and without any help or prompting. Her older sister Annabel had a big smile on her face because she too had been using the flip method not so long ago.

That's one giant leap for our daughters, one small step for mankind :)

Creativity, curiosity, independence, and joyful relationships: these are only some of the giant leaps and small steps that CHOW has been encouraging for more than 35 years. This is what Monica Brewer and her outstanding team do every day, for the benefit of all the children.

In our opinion, CHOW has been providing the best preschool education here in Washington, DC, while being more affordable than most of its peers in the area.
