KidsSpace, providing part-time child care in a charming small-town setting, is opening in January 2015!! We will offer experienced, compassionate, attentive child care for ages 3 years old and up, at a convenient location. We will keep your preschooler busy and engaged while you shop, dine, exercise, or just take a break!
KidsSpace will offer up to six flexible, reservable child care spots each weekday, providing a fun, convenient alternative to in-home babysitting or larger, center-based care. We will offer sessions in reading, writing, counting, music, art, science, and plenty of creative playtime! We will also include Bible stories and prayer in our schedule, and all children will have the opportunity to be part of a weekly non-denominational Christian 'chapel' service.
KidsSpace is operated by local mom and experienced kid person. Her qualifications include over 14 years of work experience with children, and 17+ years of parenting. She has worked in area preschools, schools, church ministries, and non-profits and volunteered extensively in schools, scout troops, churches, etc. She holds an AA degree in Liberal Studies from BGSU, and has dreamed of having her own place to care for children since 2001.
Whether you are looking for care on a regular basis, or want to drop in only as needed, KidsSpace could be your child's new home-away-from-home! Registration is necessary and reservations are encouraged. Please contact us for more info. Our base rate will be $10 per hour, per child. (We are not set up to accept ODJFS payments, but may have tuition assistance available to qualified families.)
