About the business
I'm an experienced baby nurse and a loving nanny. I educate first time parents in newborn care, and allow experienced parents the rest they need. I am trained in nationally renowned infant calming and sleeping techniques. CPR, preventative care, First Aid, and AED certified, with a clean background check, and years of experience. I am experienced with singles, twins, special needs, and preemies. Whether you are looking for a couple of days, a few weeks, or several months, I accommodate your individual needs. I am experienced working with two parent families, single parents, adoptive parents, and same-gender parents. I am based in Healdsburg, but, travel to surrounding cities in the North Bay. What I Do:
I work discreetly in your home, never pushing a certain parenting style; support your views in all aspects of newborn care; instruct you in everything from soothing to establishing a schedule; if desired, help create a suitable environment for you and your baby, allowing the rest you need
keep the nursery tidy, do baby laundry, and wash all feeding supplies; support the mother with general breastfeeding knowledge, if needed; and am flexible and will fit into your schedule.
For parents expecting a child, I can help prepare the nursery, register, organize, and set a postpartum plan. My goal is to leave each family with parents confident in their own abilities, and the knowledge of additional skills to smooth the transition into parenthood.
