Hawthorn Circle Daycare

My Daycare/Preschool program has limited -full day openings (5 days a week -or- M,W,F / T,TH) available starting immediately in a convenient large (1/3 acre) SE Portland location! Between Duke and Flavel off of 82nd ave. I offer a play based preschool program with plenty of guided free play allowing ample time for your child to engage in learning at their own pace while encouraging the creative spirit within! Toddlers MUST be at least 18 months of age and fully off bottle.



RATES:
5 days a week: $1375 per month per child


4 days a week: $ 1250 per month per child


3 days a week: $1125 per month per child


1 & 2 days a week: $1000 per month per child




A child's work is play! Learning through play is critical to holistic development!

Competitive Rates (DHS accepted at current rate plus co-pay; I can NOT adjust what DHS lists as your co-pay amount I waive difference between what they pay and my rate)

Are you a full time teacher/educator? Two thirds of my families are as well! I offer a fantastic rate package based on your special scheduling needs without breaking your budget.

AVAILABILITY: Monday through Friday day shifts; full time (open hours are 7:15 am to 4:45 pm)

I am unable to provide any transportation at this time.

Cozy, homey atmosphere and low ratio of children for more quality one on one time. I keep my numbers low (no more than 7 children pr adult usually 5 per adult except during school breaks) so all children in my care can enjoy quality time for learning as well as the comfort of feeling as if they are part of a large family home while they are here. I provide USDA meals and snacks

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES:
* To help children use their five senses to explore the world around them
* To help develop positive self-esteem
* To promote self-help skills
* to develop an interest in learning
* To encourage problem solving
* To stimulate imagination and creativity
* To emphasize process rather than final product
* To introduce basic colors, shapes, letters, numbers, and pre-math concepts
* To develop language and listening skills
* To encourage dramatic play
* To improve small and large motor skills

Fenced Yard with lots of learning and play opportunities. We go outside often (regardless of the weather so please pack and dress your child accordingly). I have climbing toys, riding toys, and lots of hands on activities and toys inside and out.
