I had a great experience. Although I did not in the end book with Georgia's as the distance was too far from our home/work. I enjoyed our meeting and I know my son would have been comfortable there. Very responsive, prompt and caring. Thank you!

It was a pleasure chatting with you, Monica! Did you find the perfect daycare for your little guy?

We have been so lucky to have our son in Georgia's care these past 3 years!! He started at Georgia's daycare at 5 months old and is now 3 years old and heading off to preschool! Knowing that my son was in a small, loving, and supportive environment made returning to work that much easier.

There are many things to love about Georgia's daycare!! She provides healthy meals, a consistent routine, fun learning activities, circle time, and a wonderful backyard for outside play time. We really have appreciated the smaller home daycare. I believe it has been a great balance between socialization for our son in a smaller, supportive environment.

The daycare is very family oriented. Pre-Covid, she and her husband would host BBQ's for the families and kids to connect as well. She is also great about sending updates and photos via text throughout the day. This is so helpful when I am really missing my little guy while I am at work.

Georgia is very dedicated to keeping a very clean and healthy home for the kids. Even pre-pandemic, she was very strict about following health guidelines. If anyone was sick or showed signs of illness they were kept home until they were well. This REALLY helped to reduce the spread of the common cold and other childhood illnesses. When she was allowed to re-open during the pandemic, we felt very safe knowing how clean and cautious she is in following health guidelines.

Georgia has always been very supportive of our son's development and needs. She even guided us through potty training and the occasional sleep regression. Her years of experience has been so helpful! She has been a guide for us and our son! We are sad to see our time at Georgia's come to end. She has been a major part of our "village" and will continue to be.

This week marks the end of my extraordinary 4-and-a-half-year relationship with Georgia. I found Georgia almost five years ago when I was looking for daycare options for my first son. I was heartbroken when I knew I would need to return to work while Leo was only 3 months old. Looking for day care options was exhausting, and scary, and very emotional for me . . . . but all of that stopped the day that I met Georgia.

Almost from the very moment we talked, there was an ease that came over me. I could never really put my finger on it or describe it, but my gut told me that this was the person my tiny little baby was supposed to be with. So, at just 3 moths old, I left him and pretty much cried the entire way to work. That day I received several text message and photos of my little guy that put me at ease.

I could not be more grateful for Georgia and the extraordinary care that she has given not only my first son, but my second son as well. Although my first son is now in kindergarten, he still lights up every-time he sees her. As a working mom, one of the hardest decisions I have had to make is who to trust with my children. Georgia has provided a safe, nurturing, and loving home for my sons. She has proven to be trustworthy, kind, caring, and diligent. She has been tremendous asset and ally when navigating firsts like potty training and transitioning to a "big boy" bed. My son was always happy to go to Georgia's and sometimes cried because he did not want to leave.

She has opened her home to my husband and I, and I love the relationships that my son has made with other children and we have made with other parents. My second son now is the one that gets excited to go to Georgia's and he will be incredibly sad to leave. It is such a blessing to never have to worry if my son is in good hands. She holds a special place in our hearts as she has helped to raise our two little boys. After being with Georgia for almost five years and two kids, I would recommend her in a heartbeat to anyone seeking a reliable, caring, daycare provider - In fact, she is the first person I have recommended to my friends as they start to look for child care for their little ones. 1000% one of the best decisions I have made for my children.

Georgia is incredible! She has taught out two year old daughter sign language, which has made communicating with her and understanding her needs much easier. Georgia also cares for our daughter as though she were one of her own and really focuses on driving and building community. If you are lucky to score a spot with Georgia, take it! She's simply amazing.

We absolutely adore Georgia! We began looking for childcare in 2010 for our 9 month old. The process proved to be difficult and frustrating. We visited one home daycare where a cloud of cigarette smoke basically hit us in the face the moment we walked in. Another one was in such a scary neighborhood that we didn't even get out of the car to interview her. I found Georgia's Family Daycare through Craigslist and scheduled a visit. At first I was nervous about finding childcare on Craigslist but no other resources were working so I figured I would take a shot. Her home is in a quiet, welcoming neighborhood on a street with very little traffic. I felt good about it just driving up. My daughter took to Georgia right away and enjoyed playing on the many toys while we chatted. Georgia was warm and pleasant and showed a genuine interest in our child. We knew our baby would be well taken care of there. I contacted Licensing the next day and found that her record was clean with no violations or complaints. We were so confident about Georgia that we cancelled an interview with another provider and started bringing our daughter to her the following Monday.

Our daughter ended up staying with Georgia for 3 years before going off to preschool full time. When we had our son, we had no doubt that we wanted Georgia to care for him as well when the time came for us to return to work.

Some of the many great things about Georgia:

Her home and backyard where the children play are clean and well maintained. She has many appropriate indoor and outdoor toys for the kids to enjoy and cleans and sanitizes them regularly. She keeps a wide variety of books and music to educate and entertain. We come home with drawings and crafts often. She has embraced our less conventional (crunchy) parenting choices such as cloth diapers, baby-led weaning and sign language. Signing Time! is now a learning tool that she utilizes regularly. She provides healthy, homemade meals (breakfast, lunch and snacks) that are increasingly made from organic ingredients, which I appreciate greatly. She is active on her Facebook page, updating us on the activities and food the kids are enjoying. I love getting these real-time updates during the day! She texts photos of the kids having fun to the parents but respects the families' privacy and never posts photos of the kids online. Communication is always open and I have appreciated her experienced advice throughout the last four years, as a first time mom as well as a mom of two. She always has the best interest of the children in mind and acts accordingly. She teaches good manners from the start; I'm often amazed at how polite my kids can be. She hosts annual Halloween and Christmas parties for current and former families to connect socially. During the summer she has barbeques every so often to bring us all together.

Most importantly, she creates a true family environment for both the kids and parents. We consider Georgia to be our good friend now and not just the place we take our kids when we go to work. We are eternally grateful for all she has taught our kids and done for our family!

Georgia is the best. My husband and I feel lucky to have found such good infant care! My son was 4 months old and exclusively on breast milk when he went into full-time daycare with Georgia in 2012. She was always very friendly, patient and considerate with my concerns as my son grew and transitioned to eating solids. She would even share great tips to help me with feedings.

When he began to crawl and parallel play with the other children, he learned sharing and was always treated in a caring and gentle way. My son learned good manners and habits while with Georgia. He obviously loved her and the other children in her care.

My husband and I were both very happy to have found Georgia. Our son was with her for over a year, until we moved. We have not found a daycare that meets with the high level of care and compassion that Georgia provided. She set the bar high.

If you are looking for a caring and safe place for your child, I highly recommend Georgia.
