My mother currently has gated a home healthcare service this is the worst place ever. The 1st aide ran a scam on my mom and tricked her out of 150. Then the second one has made a key to my moms house, was punching in the entire time my mom was in the hospital. Was giving her medication that weren't prescribed. Sitting on the phone all day not doing nothing she suppose to do. My mom can walk and was sitting in urine and started to break down. I reported it to haters they put her on hold for a couple of days and sent her back. I am in the process of filing a claim with the state against this place. They won't answer my calls now or respond to my emails. Don't every use this service ifor anything.

I've now had 4 care aids from Gareda d/b/a Access. The 1st woman was stealing, i.e., money, dishtowels, washrags, new bottle of perfume, and took 2-3 cigarette breaks during a 4 hour shift. Took her 20 minutes to put her boots and coat on.
The second gal was a prima donna and spent 4-6 hours, ordering lunch, picking it up, talking on the phone, and did maybe an hours worth of light chores. She was resentful about the chores, which I later learned, as she was slamming the cabinet doors in the bathrooms (broke some), and repeatedly dropped the toilet tank top (thankfully didn't break). I didn't stand over her shoulder and figured this out when both toilets weren't flushing properly due to loose handles.
The 3rd gal was only 23 years old, and came once about 2 hours late. The next time she was 2 hours late again and I told her to take the day off. The next week both days she would call every hour and say she'd be here in another hour but never showed. The next girl never showed 2 days. Still waiting for reimbursement for repairs to the bathrooms (not my building I rent).
When the ladies took lunches or breaks they didn't clock out or clock in. Basically they were all stealing from their employer.

If I could give them a zero I would. Absolutely the worst place for the elderly or those with disabilities.

The worse people work in their Chicago office located on 85th and Stony Island. They have nasty attitudes and are not helpful at all!

This is a wonderful company that cares for both the elderly & it's caregiver. When the client recieves service and a caregiver has to be off a replacement is sent as soon as possible.
