Amazing Opportunity To Work With A Fun 5 Year Old

Part Time
We are looking for someone to hang out with, read to, and care for our 5-year-old son in the afternoon and on weekends. We provide a fun, loving and structured environment for our son. We believe that he should expect kindness and show it in return. We value people who can see our son as the amazing little kid he is and lean into his strengths as a way to help him grow in areas where he is still developing. A. is a happy and healthy 5-year-old. He loves playing with cars, trucks and trains. He sings, plays and listens to music. He is smart and in many ways academically ahead of his peers. He has about 30 sight words, can count to 40, is working on basic addition and subtraction and had complete phonemic awareness. A. is learning to communicate more actively and uses language for requests. We would love someone who operates in and out of kindness at all times. Ideally the individual would have experience working with kids with special needs and the loving patience needed to support their growth. We would like someone with CPR/First Aid and a person with a valid drivers license and clean driving record. Any experience with speech language pathology or working with kids who have autism would also be helpful. We would like the person who feels comfortable doing fun learning activities, preparing dinner and most of all playing! We have no pets and would prefer that the person spending time in our home has no pets or hypoallergenic pets as everyone in our home is severely allergic to pet dander.
