We are looking for a great babysitter for 1 child in New Milford. We would prefer a babysitter who has their own car, who is willing to drive children and who is comfortable with pets. L has high functioning autism and needs a companion when we are not here. We have cats! Would love someone who wants to do things with him.

I need someone available from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. until his school bus and nurse arrive and again from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday thru Friday. Nothing but companionship, stationary play, possible diaper change in the morning and feeding his breakfast is needed. He weighs 70lbs so ability to lift him in case he needs a diaper change will be important. He normally naps once he gets . home from school at 3 p.m. and sleeps till 5 p.m. so very little work is required in the afternoon.

We are looking for someone EVERY Saturday with few exceptions. Hours are 12 to 5. (may shift to 11 a.m. to 4 in future) Funding will be provided through the ARC of Bergen County and Sitter will need to be fingerprinted, have a background check and be tested for TB unless applicant has had a recent TB test. (All at no cost to sitter except TB test). Rate is $15 an hour. Sitter will be paid in cash or check by parent at the end of each session. Sitter will need to initial form from the ARC of Bergen County for hours that were worked. Respite providers must be 18 years of age or older. Please do not apply unless you are available long term at least until September 2018.
