Part-Time Tutoring (all Ages Welcome) In Various Subjects From Dual Degree College Graduate
Hello! My name is Michael, and I am a recent graduate of the University of Portland with degrees in science and language--a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. I have spent the past year tutoring fellow college-level students, including students with special needs and students not in the "major" of a particular course. I tutored a range of subjects under biology, such as Anatomy & Physiology, Human Genetics, Marine Biology, Botany, Cellular Biology, etc.), and I have also tutored beginner students in Spanish. Although I was unable to complete all portions due to inadequate time, I was trained and mentored in tutoring during my time this year at the University of Portland.
Lastly, I have years of experience volunteering as a tutor and substitute teacher for English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, as well as a reading tutor for a student with dyslexia.
