Experienced Nanny Looking For Part Or Full Time Position.

Responds within 5 hours
Working with children is my passion. Most of my happiest moments include children. I have enjoyed working as a nanny for seven families. This includes newborns, infants, toddler twins and premature twins! I have also worked as an Art teacher for children who have Autism. I have experience working in a preschool and as a kindergarten teacher's aide. As a nanny, I provide creative activities such as games, stories, music and art projects. I encourage reading. I communicate well with children. I am intuitive and empathetic. I am reliable, flexible, adaptable and responsible. I am honest and trustworthy. I respect family values and take suggestions well. I love to paint and play the drums. I love animals. I absolutely adore children. I am looking for a position in the Los Angeles / San Fernando valley area; live in or out. I am willing to relocate. I have a resume, recommendations and I have the results from live scan background check available.

We currently have Lisa working with our family. She is both caring and educational. She is warm and patient. Our son is very fond of her and enjoys her company. He is learning many things from drawing to nature and everything in between. Lisa joins us at meal times and for activities and is a real extension of our family. We really appreciate her input and advice on interactions with our son. Her experience is invaluable. Any family would be lucky to have her.

Experienced, Creative And Fun Babysitter

My methodology in childcare incorporates a balance between teaching discipline and having fun, all while learning open communication. I am present, patient, and enjoy exploring new enriching activities that can cultivate the child's imagination, and enhance their development. I am an athlete and would love to share my love of sports with kids. I was captain of both varsity basketball and tennis in high school and share the same leadership principles that I learned with the kids I baby-sit. My past childcare experience varies from being a fulltime nanny to a newborn and a toddler siblings to being a kindergarten teacher assistant, a volunteer at an elementary school helping underprivileged kids learn how to read and write, and a camp counselor for a brief time. In the past, I've handled homework help, tutoring, pick-ups, and drop-offs, meal prep, arts and crafts, Tennis/Basketball/Swimming lessons, and outdoor excursions.

My family and I are so grateful to have found Naima. She has helped us transition from a family of 3 to a family of 4 by providing outstanding care for our toddler by supporting her development and interests through play. She has quickly become a part of our family. We immediately felt we could trust Naima due to her calm and genuine nature. Also, our toddler showed love for her the day they met! Any family would be lucky to have Naima's care.

Let's Make Distance Learning Fun!

Responds within an hour
Hi! I'm a passionate advocate for childhood education with a Master's in Teaching from USC and 10 years of experience in tutoring and educational enrichment programs. I've especially worked with K-6 students struggling in language arts and math to bring them up to grade level and beyond. I recently tutored a learning pod of elementary students, assisting them with distance learning, homework, and enrichment activities. I also tutor children in the afternoons, both privately and through my work with a leading math tutoring center. I can collaborate with your child's school curriculum, as well as create supplemental lesson plans in all elementary subjects. My focus is on individualized instruction that integrates the latest learning methods and student interests. **For the safety of my family and yours, effective January 25th, I am accepting only online assignments until I am vaccinated.**

Alicia has been a true blessing in these crazy times. She's responsible, dependable and knowledgeable. We hired her for a 4 person learning pod ( 2nd graders, 2 kindergartners) She's patient and kind to our kids especially during these times. She's taken time to bond with them and help them in academic areas that they need. She knows how positively redirect and make sure our kids stay on task. She usually follows up with us parents in a text or email. I always feel like I know what my kids are doing even thou I am not with them full time.
