Experienced Nanny Available

***My household is fully vaccinated*** My partner and I recently relocated to Portland from Upstate New York. In my 8 years of childcare experience, I have been employed in daycare settings and as a full-time and part-time nanny. In these environments, I have had experience with children from newborn to school-age and everything in between; my experience also includes special needs children. I love kids and can watch up to four at a time, for as long as you need me! I am currently working full-time for a family so I'm unavailable during daytime hours. That being said, I'm available for date-nights, weekends, and non-recurring hours during the day if my schedule permits. I have my own car, love pets, and can do light housework. If you need childcare and think I would be a good fit, feel free to contact me on Care. com or by phone/email! Resume available upon request.

We have been beyond blessed to have Callie as our part time nanny for our little one. She has been with us almost a year, joining our family when our son was just six months old. I cannot say enough about how wonderful she is. Callie is not only incredibly knowledgeable with children and their development, she is also the sweetest individual and cares deeply about the families she works with. She has great instincts, is reliable, and an excellent communicator. We adore Callie and cannot recommend her highly enough.

Responsible And Friendly Baby Sitter/Nanny With Lots Of Experience And Very Flexible Hours

Responds within 5 hours
Hi! I've been nannying for over 10 years now for several amazing families and have tons of experience with all age groups, including newborns, toddlers and school age. I'm super friendly, engaged, responsible and hands on. I genuinely enjoy being a nanny and spending time with kids, and I find it rewarding to be a part of their life, helping them to learn and grow and discover new things everyday! Being a nanny is a blast because what job gives you funny silly little humans as your coworkers?! I have a very flexible schedule right now, a safe and reliable SUV if driving is needed, and am CPR certified. I've also been taking social distancing incredibly serious and can ensure you that your child would be in safe and capable hands with me. Look forward to hearing from you! :)

We have had Elena as a nanny for our 2 children (Ages 1 and 3) for a year and a half. When Elena first started, my son was just an infant, and we'd previously had my mother in law helping with all childcare, so I was super anxious about trying someone knew from outside of our own family. Elena immediately bonded with my children, and I felt so comfortable going back to work after having a newborn. Elena is creative, engaging, and energetic with my kids, and they respect and love her so much. Elena is easy to communicate with, takes direction well, and really has been such a blessing for our family. We also had her bring her dog Lyla with to our house when she watched the kids so that our dog had another dog to play with. Lyla is the sweetest, doesn't shed, and our kids love her! We are moving out of state and won't be seeing Elena every week, but we hope to invite her along for trips in the future to help with the kids, and so that we have an excuse to hang out with her again. :)

Part-Time Babysitter/Nanny

Hi I am a Native Oregonian with a double degree in Spanish and International Relations from Portland State University. I currently work for WolfPack Consulting and Therapeutic Services as a Child and Adolescent Skill Builder. This position is contract and gives me a lot of flexibility with hours which is why I am looking for a part time care giving position. I have multiple years experience working as a babysitter, nanny and now a child and adolescent counselor. My experience is with kids 4 months-15 years of age. I also have experience tutoring Spanish and English and teaching reading and comprehension skills. My goal, as your caregiver is to find a balance between being a friend to your kids but an ally to you, the parents/guardians. I am extremely interactive with the kids, love arts and crafts and work hard to maintain the rules of the house. My number one goal is to respect the way you run your house and to make sure that your kids are having a good time.

Hannah was responsible for taking care of our son & daughter for date nights. Her duties included mealtime, bath time routine and bedtime. She always cleaned up after herself and the kids. She was punctual and accommodating as well. She has a fun personality yet instilled rules when needed. Our children were always super excited when Hannah would come over. Hannah also watched our dog on several occasions and we always knew she was in good hands! We would definitely hire Hannah again if she lived in the area. She became family to us. She came to our son's soccer games and we really enjoyed being a part of her interests too! We truly miss her. Hannah would be a positive asset to any family.

Full-time Caregiver

Responds within a few days
Hi :) I'm a childcare-giver from the PNW looking for a new position near Portland, OR. I love Portland and all that is has to offer (parks, coffee, community, etc.) I have 9 months experience as a full-time nanny, including my most recent position as a live-in for two 3 yo's and 1 7 yo. I have 6 years paid experience as a childcare-giver total. I've cared for kiddos 6 mo to 10 yo in different contexts, with jobs ranging in duties. The majority of my experience is teaching and taking care of (preparing food, bathing, putting to nap, going for walks, doing crafts, etc.) preK-K, 2-6). My ideal position would be 1-3 kiddos, 1-8 yo. I'm flexible on hours but would love a schedule with set days of the week, around 30 hr/wk. The employer would also have to be ok with me picking up (potentially! depending on hours) other part-time or one-off jobs. I also am taking COVID seriously and am faithful to proper mask-wearing and hand sanitizer use :) and would expect the same from you!

Jenna was fantastic and brought a wealth of activities and learning experiences for our Son. She was great about communicating all the fun things he did throughout the day sent lots of pictures. She cleaned up the house as he was sleeping, which was a big help. She had some difficulties surrounding watching someone his age ~13 months, but we were aware of her lack of experience when we hired her and she picked up quickly. She was late a few times, but after a discussion about the importance of being on time, she was on time moving forward. Would highly recommend Jenna for anyone looking for care for their child preschool age and up.

Experienced, Energetic Childcare Professional

Hi, I'm Alex! I am a childcare professional with 8+ years of experience, around 500+ hours in daycare centers and 3000+ hours of babysitting/nanny experience for families throughout the Portland area. Background checked, CPR/first aid trained, food handlers license obtained. To describe myself briefly, I just turned 22, and would say that I am interactive, energetic and willing to go the extra mile in caring for my clients/families. To put it simply: My work does not take a back seat and my interaction with children (despite their age) is one where I encourage development of problem solving, and exploratory thinking through thought provoking speech and CBT. And of course I come with every parent's favorite thing... references! In daycare I specialized working with kids ages 2mo-10yrs. Outside I typically work with children ages 2-12 years old. I am currently looking for a family to care for full-time! Alternatively, I'm searching for a pod of students to guide through online school.

Alex loves kids and is dedicated to caring for them well. We have known Alex for a while and have had him watch our sons a number of times. Our boys love having him around and he goes the extra mile to make sure they're having fun while also following the guidelines of what we set for the boys. You can always tell how much my kids love him by how much they laugh and smile when he's around. We are grateful to have him caring for our kids.
