So I'm looking to hire a reliable and compassionate PCA for Saturday evenings at 5 p.m. - 9 p.m. This shift is pretty easy as I just need assistance with ADLs such washing up, g-tube feeding, dressing, transfer into bed. Easy-peasy. This is a great opportunity for those looking to gain experience in the healthcare field. Training will be provided. Pay is $17. 70 through Agency. Even though I have Muscular Dystrophy, I'm a pretty laid back guy who loves to be with fun people. I'm always in good spirits and don't let things get me down. Life is good. Going to restaurants, attending church, laughing at the daily news, and watching movies are some of my favorite things to do. My care includes washing up, dressing, g-tube feeding, transfers from wheelchair to bedside etc. All the fun stuff. The other time is spent just hanging out doing nothing, or maybe watching movies with some nachos.. You bring the spicy salsa of course. Pay is $15. 75 through Tempus Unlimited. I am 56 years old with Muscular Dystrophy and use a ventilator 24/7. $400/week paid by the state as well as free utilities, cable tv, WIFI, W&D, and more are also included. Your primary responsibility is to be home between 9 p.m. - 9 a.m. for overnight supervision. Sleeping is allowed. Other duties to be discussed. . This position is perfect for someone with a flexible day-time schedule such as p/t employment, retired, or a student, etc. Caregiver must be in good health and able to lift and transfer up to 110 pounds. I am very laid back and am don't let life get me down. I love getting out and enjoy being around others. Life is good. Duties include ADL's such as washing up, dressing, medis via g-tube, assisting with transfers to and from wheelchair, etc. Training is provided so experience isn't necessary. We would also spend time hanging out talking and laughing or maybe watch a movie. We can grab some lunch (sushi, Mexican), or run errands using my wheelchair accessible van.
