At 1st sheltered destination, we will deploy very stable kayaks. The stealth of the kayak allows you to get close to the flora and fauna. Our next destination is an uninhabited barrier island beach where you will be led on a leisurely, hands-on walking tour. Expect to see more seashells than you ever have. After the walk, we are back in the kayaks, then the boat, then back to home base. Note: June through October, we suggest the morning experiences due to the weather.

Get ready to be amazed by the natural beauty of Joshua Tree! The formal portion of the hike will last about 1.5 hours with about a 30 minute hike back to the cars. The hike is a little over 2 miles round trip. While most of the hike is flat, be prepared to hike sandy, gravelly, and hilly terrain.
