Note: Sunrise is too early in the summer to ride during the tram’s open hours! We will be riding after sunrise April - August. The early tour guest gets the spectacular views. We’ll meet you on the edge of downtown Portland, where you will have a chance to pick up coffee (or tea). We will head over to OHSU, where we will walk with you to the Aerial Tram. We’ll ride up this feat of Swiss engineering up to the top as the early sun reveals the city’s glowing colors. Once there, depending on sunrise timing and weather, we'll watch the sun crest the horizon, or check out city views in the early morning light. After we ride back to the bottom, we'll tell you the story of the bridge and its quixotic lights, and orient you to the city whose east-west divider lies before us. The Aerial Tram was built in 2006 to connect the main campus of Oregon Health Sciences University with the new neighborhood of the South Waterfront. We will be joining students and medical staff on their daily tram ride!

The electric bikes make taking a three hour tour effortlessly. You will ease up the hills of Seattle while smiling. After the tour you will have seen many unique sites, expanded your knowledge of the waterways, the animals of the Sound and the neighborhoods, and you will have had an enjoyable and memorable experience that's truly all about Seattle. The electric bikes allow for close up viewing of the gardens, boat docks and other sites. Your guide is a local. I grew up in Seattle, taught in Seattle schools, I care about the city and the natural settings and continue to build my knowledge of Seattle. The helmets have an intercom system that helps us communicate while riding the bikes. Your safety is a priority, we stick mainly to bike paths and lightly traveled roads. We will be temporarily closed due to the heat and away in flying falcons in the in the California Central Coast vineyards keeping the Starlings from devouring the grapes. You always welcome to book available dates when we re-open in the Fall. A GROUP of attendees are given the opportunity for a unique experience into the life of a Raptor with an up close and personal encounter with Hawks, Falcons and Owls. With the assistance of a licensed Falconer, you will learn the biology, conservation, field identification, traits, behaviors, natural history, and the importance of raptors. Following a brief instruction guests will be fitted with a gauntlet and join a trained Hawk on a short walk – witness the agility and skill as she flies from perch to perch while swooping back to the Falconer’s gauntlet.
