It’s all about opposites! Loud and quiet, fast and slow, up and down! Contrasting ‘themes’ means your child is learning better ways to communicate. Explore the different equipment pieces each week to build problem solving, navigating skills, and confidence.

More adventures come to life through imaginary play in this multi-age play class. A perfect opportunity for siblings to experience class together, or for children to practice more diverse social skills like leadership and peer modeling.

What to expect in class: Taught by amazing Mr. Steven, who is in the Reno Wind Symphony, has a Master's Degree in Music and over 15 years experience teaching children 6 mos - 5 years! Engage your little one in a multi-age music class with songs, rhythm exploration, movement to music and instrument exploration (sanitized between each use). This class provides opportunities not only to learn musical techniques, styles, and about different instruments, but also supports social and emotional development. Benefits: Physical: Sensory exploration time is supported while children practice their motor skills, which is crucial for your child’s overall development. Cognitive: Music play helps activate parts of the brain responsible for music and speech processing. It creates an early appreciation of music and supports language development. Social: Through music, you can hear and feel emotions. Tunes can be happy, sad, or angry! This supports social development in understanding emotions in a new way. Adults: You get to engage with your little one making emotional connections and strong bonds. Being involved in your child’s play helps both you feel more connected.

Ease your child into independent learning. This class combines time for you and your child to explore imaginary themes together, along with a separation time where your child will enjoy a story with their friends, and visit a variety of hands-on stations to ignite their love of learning.

Independent playtime with adult and child. At Kids Club we welcome everyone to join our various stages of developmental play! Come explore our playscape equipment, for some unguided play time with lots of fun and music. All members are invited to 1 Open Play per week but must enroll online. This FREE Open Play only applies to current members and can be used for customers that have class pack purchases. *Non-members may purchase a 60 minute Open Play time slot for $30.00 a child. What to expect in class: Children are given free range to explore the playscape equipment, with their adults within a hug’s reach. Let your child take the lead and run out some wiggles and have many giggles! Open Play times will sometimes have extra activities like parachute time, bubbles and story-time.

Brides, of the princess variety. This story’s got such an incredibly absurd array of heroes, villains, robots and romances, it’s total chaos. But once Archer gets pulled into the mashup tale of a princess with a secret agenda and some space wizards destined for greatness, she starts to wonder: Could this be so much chaos it’s actually...genius? Join Stages for our 2026 Fall Play: SPACE PRINCESS WARS Stages’s unique approach to working with middle schoolers focuses as much on the process as it does the product, allowing young performers to learn audition technique and participate in character and scene study while rehearsing a fully staged production. Stages was created by a professional performer turned child development specialist with the primary goal of helping children develop the foundational skills and technique every performer needs while giving them the opportunity to find their voice, build confidence, and do what every budding Broadway Star loves most: PERFORM! *STUDENTS ARE PERMITTED TO ENROLL FOR BOTH THE FALL PLAY & WINTER MUSICAL. Tuition to participate in both shows is $1350. Discount will be applied at checkout. WHAT TO EXPECT: --Weeks 1-2 (Sep 11 - Sep 19): I Hope I Get It!-- During the first two weeks of the semester, students will participate in a personalized audition process. Auditions at Stages are designed to be a low stress, fun experience. Middle School Musical students get the chance to do a comprehensive audition process complete with cold reads and callbacks. Casting will be done more traditionally with 1-2 actors playing each role. EVERY CHILD WILL BE GIVEN A ROLE OR SPECIAL PART IN THE SHOW. We will work together with children to make sure they have a role. that they are excited to perform! --Weeks 3-9 (Sep 25 - Nov 6): Putting It Together-- During Weeks 3-9, the cast will participate in weekly rehearsals. During these classes, we will focus on character development, blocking the show, and introducing various theatrical elements that will be used such as sets, props, special effects, and costumes. --Weeks 10-11 (Nov 13 - Nov 21): Prepping for Opening Night-- During Weeks 10-11, the cast will begin running doing “Run Thrus” where they perform the show from start to finish. We’ll also start adding in transitions so performers know when and how to enter/exit the stage, when to get microphones, make a costume change, or pick up a prop from the prop table. These classes are VERY important and we ask that you do your best to ensure your child is at every class unless they are ill. *There will be no class on November 27* TECH WEEK: Friday, December 4 - Thursday, December 10 The week of the show, we will be having rehearsals after school at the theater. Mobile siblings 5 years & younger can attend if they are actively enrolled in the class. The Middle School Art class at The Atelier School of Art is a one-hour session for ages 11-13, designed to help students refine their artistic skills while exploring different mediums and techniques. This class covers drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture, with a focus on composition, perspective, shading, and color theory. Students are encouraged to develop their unique artistic voice while building a strong foundation in both traditional and contemporary art practices.

In this class, Nicole will lead you and your little ones in 45-minutes of collaborative music making. We will connect through music while we sing, dance, move, play and pretend. We will bring sanitized instruments and props along with place markers meant to act as visual aids to help us keep a safe distance from one another.
