This class provides an opportunity for children to explore and play in a less structured class environment with a combination of guided and free Sensory Open Play! After the Hello Song, our teacher will introduce children to the different sensory bins we'll have out for the class and also provide an example of what children can do in the art room- if they choose to join after exploring the sensory bins (which will be switched out every couple weeks). Children will have the option to further explore different recycled materials to create a craft during the second half of class. At JAMaROO Kids all of our music curriculum is developed to support and foster all five key areas of development: Cognitive, Speech & Language, Gross Motor Development, Fine Motor Development, Social and Emotional. This class includes: Bilingual Music, Movement, and Storytime. 15 MINUTE EXPLORATION TIMES: We are eager to build community together as we open our JAMaROO Kids Club! We invite you to arrive up to 15 minutes before your class, and stay up to 15 minutes after your class ends, to explore our space with your littles! We simply ask that you adhere to the 15 minute windows before and after out of respect for the previous class, and the following class. If you would like to play in our space for longer please consider signing up for one of our open playtime hours- these can also be found on our registration page. Thank you for your cooperation! This session, we will focus on Forest Animals, the Rainforest, and Snow and Arctic Animals! This is an 8-week session. Class Description:
This teen art class is designed for teens who are ready to begin exploring their creative potential and how to start developing their own artistic voice. Students will be introduced to, and encouraged to explore, a variety of mediums—including drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking, mixed media, and collage—while receiving personalized guidance from an experienced instructor. Whether they're interested in building their technical skills or discovering thier own unique style, this class offers the freedom to experiment and create at your own pace. New teen students will complete three pre-designed projects with their teacher's guidance to help aid them in learning how to set-up/clean-up supplies and materials, get a feel for what mediums are available, and allow teachers to get a feel for the student's level of skill and art knowledge. What They’ll Learn: Medium Exploration: Gain hands-on experience with a wide range of art forms, including pencil and charcoal drawing, acrylic and watercolor painting, clay sculpture, printmaking, and collage techniques. Project Development: Learn how to conceptualize, plan, and execute your own independent projects. With teacher support, they’ll refine your ideas and bring them to life. Creative Techniques: Develop new skills in various artistic techniques, from layering and texture in mixed media to the technical aspects of ceramics and printmaking. Self-Expression: Find their own voice and style as they experiment with different materials and approaches to art-making. Critique & Feedback: Receive constructive feedback from the instructor and peers in a supportive and open environment to enhance their artistic process and growth. Who This Class Is For: Both new and continuing students. Teens ages 12-17 who are eager to create art more independently but want guidance, structure, and inspiration from a teacher. Students interested in experimenting with different art forms and techniques. Young artists who want to develop their skills and explore personal projects.

PLEASE NOTE: This Family Music class takes place in our small classroom. Therefore, the class size is limited to 8 children only. This class is NOT on our playscape/playfloor. Mobile siblings 5 years & younger can attend if they are actively enrolled in the class. The house will be rocking with music playing throughout the day and a level of energy that will only be outdone by the amount of FUN being had!! Best of all, the unpredictable weather will never be a factor because we have an awesome indoor space, covered in state-of-the-art field turf!! Come along as we help the Queendom's faithful mail carrier, Pack Rat, with all of his magical mail deliveries! There are some familiar addresses, and some less familiar.. but he's never let a letter go undelivered and won't start now! Please remember to pack a water bottle, nut-free lunch and a yummy snack (or2!). Drop off: 9am - 9:30am Pickup: 2:30pm - 3pm Refund Policy: Please note that we have a no refund policy. Full credits will be issued for anything with a 4 week notice and can be used for any future Rabbit Hole activity. After 4 weeks we are unable to credit. If your child is sick or you need to miss a day of camp we will have a camp bag ready for you at the studio. This bag will be filled with enchanted projects, art materials, audio and video links and anything your kiddo might be missing in class. Independent playtime with adult and child. At Kids Club we welcome everyone to join our various stages of developmental play! Come explore our playscape equipment, for some unguided play time with lots of fun and music. All members are invited to 1 Open Play per week but must enroll online. This FREE Open Play only applies to current members and can be used for customers that have class pack purchases. *Non-members may purchase a 60 minute Open Play time slot for $30.00 a child. What to expect in class: Children are given free range to explore the playscape equipment, with their adults within a hug’s reach. Let your child take the lead and run out some wiggles and have many giggles! Open Play times will sometimes have extra activities like parachute time, bubbles and story-time.

Our play floor comes to life with trips to the grocery store, eating pizza, finding animals, and even bugs! School is just around the corner, and in this class, you get to witness your child’s imagination come to life and be part of their learning journey.

The Middle School Art class at The Atelier School of Art is a one-hour session for ages 11-13, designed to help students refine their artistic skills while exploring different mediums and techniques. This class covers drawing, painting, printmaking, and sculpture, with a focus on composition, perspective, shading, and color theory. Students are encouraged to develop their unique artistic voice while building a strong foundation in both traditional and contemporary art practices.

In this class, Nicole will lead you and your little ones in 45-minutes of collaborative music making. We will connect through music while we sing, dance, move, play and pretend. We will bring sanitized instruments and props along with place markers meant to act as visual aids to help us keep a safe distance from one another.

Join us for this fun-filled class where we strive to spread delight and wonder by infusing the love of imagination and storytelling with creative movement, beginning ballet, and other dance! Each week we will explore a new magical theme. All our dance classes are designed to encourage make believe and to allow children to create their own dances that live inside their hearts! KC FAMILY GYM is a teacher-led class that supports children who are walking, running, climbing, and exploring as they develop strength, balance, coordination, and confidence through purposeful movement and active play. Children are encouraged to climb, walk, run, jump, and explore in a thoughtfully prepared environment using age-appropriate equipment. Led by an experienced teacher, each class offers guided activities and open-ended exploration that promote motor skill development, spatial awareness, and social interaction. Caregivers participate alongside their children, creating a supportive, engaging experience that strengthens connection while celebrating movement, curiosity, and growing independence. Designed for little ones who are confidently moving and discovering their world, KC Family Gym blends structure with play—helping children grow stronger, more confident, and excited to move.

Please dress for the weather- as we do take a walk in the neighborhood and eat in the garden on days when we can.

Hi-Five Kids Fitness & Aerobics (Ages 3.5–6) Get your child moving, learning, and having fun with Hi-Five Kids Fitness & Aerobics at the Bernard Weinger JCC! This high-energy class is designed to help young children build a strong foundation of movement, coordination, balance, flexibility, and confidence through age-appropriate fitness activities, obstacle courses, aerobic games, music, and interactive challenges. For boys, this program helps develop the fundamental athletic skills needed to succeed in sports such as basketball, soccer, baseball, football, and more. Through running, jumping, agility drills, and teamwork activities, children gain the confidence and physical literacy needed to enter the sports world. For girls, the class provides an excellent introduction to the movement patterns used in dance, cheerleading, gymnastics, and performing arts.
