Ballet III continues foundations laid in Ballet II classes for dancers ages 8+. Students will practice basic ballet barre work, and continue to build fine and gross motor skills, while also working on musicality, memorization, and creative expression.

Alice is so excited to offer a Concert style class this Summer at Casey Jones' Village! Mars Presents: Music with Alice, a 30 minute family music class, is for 0-5 year olds along with their parents, grandparents and caregivers to come together every week to sing together! Due to the generosity of Mars, these classes are ABSOLUTELY FREE! We will be inside at the Train Museum! Please bring a blanket to sit on and an instrument for your little one to play if they have one! These classes are highly engaging to all ages, as Alice teaches everyone finger play activities, hand movements, lap songs, call and response singing and we end each class with a lullaby to calm the children for the next part of their day. These classes have a flow that allows quiet soothing and also lots of movement and big fun! Each class is full of simple and enjoyable music from the folk tradition, classics you know and love, and originals written by Alice! These songs are specifically crafted with a wide range of ages in mind (even the adults will love it!) Alice's classes encourage bonding and create one-of-a-kind memories that will last forever afterwards. Runners, Active Imaginers, Adventurers, and Creative Explorers bring imaginative themes to life through stories, movement, puppetry, and songs. Children explore adventures such as the Wild West, Outer Space, the Jungle, the Ocean, and more, while building listening skills, coordination, and cooperative play in a fun, engaging environment for children and caregivers to explore together.

Experience music from all around the world-music from both past and present, near and far! From The Beatles to Bach! Children will begin to experiment with ways to play musical instruments, accompany a song with rhythm, and act out lyrics through movements using both gross motor and fine motor skills. Children know so much about music at this stage, and are at the beginning stages of being able to express themselves musically!

This class is for all children, not just siblings, ages 8 months (or mobile) to 5 years old. Multi-aged children get to experience class together and learn diverse social skills like leadership and peer modeling. There is a new fun theme every week! All children may participate in guided activities and end class with bubbles and parachute time.

We are offering 11 different art camps/ new curriculum for Art Camps this summer. Art Camp at All Things Art Studio is the best way to experience total immersion in a summer art program! It's fun & and students get a chance to delve into their creative selves without crazy time restraints. Students will also get to Tie Dye an All Things Art Studio Camp Shirt (or other item for repeat campers) on Day 1! (included in the fee of camp). In the mornings, they will be working on individual projects, and the afternoon art academy will give them a relaxed but focused exercise in fine arts. There will be landscape drawing and painting, and still life exploration. We explore drawing, clay, printmaking, textiles, weaving, watercolor, acrylics, tempera paint, glazing & more! We will work with canvas, clay, watercolor, tissue paper and many other types of medium as well. Every camp is a different curriculum, so please register for as many as you can :) It's an amazing week for students, they meet and make new art friends and enjoy the warm summer weather. Bring a sack lunch each day and a water bottle, We will have outdoor lunch & walk in the neighborhood- plus outdoor "en plain air" instruction in their daily journal/ sketchbook. Bring it on! Some of our Elementary, Middle School and High School groups will be offered at the same times & days (convenient for families with older & younger children). But the Camps will be separated by the groups and have different curriculum and locations within the studio. (MS/HS have a seperate registration with separate curriculum)

Northern VA / DMV Area! We are back with the Ultimate IN-PERSON Communication Intensive for High School Students at our awesome Highest Speak Center in Reston, VA! Camp runs from 1:30–4:30 PM — perfect for high schoolers who like sleeping in during the summer! High school is when communication skills truly start to matter. Students are expected to participate in class discussions, present projects, interview for internships and leadership roles, collaborate in groups, and soon interview for college and jobs. Yet most students are rarely taught how to organize their ideas clearly, write strong arguments, and present them confidently! That’s exactly what this program focuses on. In this high-energy, 5-day program (3 hours per day) students will build powerful communication skills while having a TON of fun through engaging speaking challenges, interactive activities, and real-world scenarios. Students will practice both writing and presenting, learning how to develop ideas quickly and communicate them clearly in front of others.
