Now that your child has increased his or her language skills, experienced high/low, has marched to the steady beat, and has the rhythm all inside, let's apply those concepts directly to the piano! We will learn the scale, listen to famous composers and famous piano pieces, make music with sound stories, learn musical terms, strengthen our fingers, work on proper posture and hand position, learn quarter notes and half notes, and letters C,D,E all before private music lessons begin! Melody Makers is a solid foundation for piano or private music instruction! Plus, everything is better with new friends! Classes are 1 hour long each week. Little Folkies is excited to offer classes at KIDDIE ACADEMY this FALL Season 2026! Little Folkies' folk music class that welcomes toddlers and preschoolers to come together every week to sing like one big family! There is never a dull moment in this class, with the teacher leading the students through fun and engaging finger play activities, hand movements, fun lap songs, call and response singing and hands-on jamming with shakers, wooden kids instruments, harmonicas, and more! The sweet, gentle and simple songs of the folk tradition have lyrics easy enough for children to sing along to and creating positive early musical memories for them. Here at Little Folkies we share the knowledge that music is at the core of every human being, and we believe that all children should experience genuine, heartfelt, acoustic music making which will increase their musical confidence and give them a healthy relationship to music right from the start.

Let your child’s imagination come to life in this fun and inspiring weekly art class! Each session features a new theme and introduces young artists to a variety of materials, techniques, and creative styles. From painting and drawing to mixed media projects, children will explore, create, and express themselves in exciting new ways. Our thoughtfully designed, multi-step projects help develop fine motor skills, creativity, and confidence—while encouraging each child’s unique artistic voice. FALL 2026 SPANISH CLUB: MI FAMILIA This fall, students will explore the theme of Mi Familia through engaging Spanish experiences designed to help them share what matters most: their family, their relationships, and their world. Through songs, movement, games, conversations, and creative projects, students will build confidence using real-life Spanish to introduce themselves, talk about family members, and describe the special people in their lives. Along the way, they'll create a personalized family tree project and prepare for a special end-of-session showcase where they'll share their learning with family and friends. Each child registered occupies a place that would otherwise be taken by another child paying in full. Therefore, in the event of cancellation, we offer full refunds only prior to the second class. Following the second class, no refunds will be issued. Online service fee is non-refundable. Behavior Policy ---- Brilliant Bilingual's Spanish Club has basic rules of behavior, including respecting others and materials. These rules are reviewed regularly with students. Disrespectful behavior, foul, hurtful language, violence or other disruptions will not be tolerated. Brilliant Bilingual reserves the right to remove students from the club without refunding payment in the event of repeated misbehavior. Tardy Policy ---- Spanish Club ends at 3:00pm. Parents who pick their students up directly after Spanish Club must be ready to pick them up at 3:00pm. Any parent or responsible caregiver who does not pick up their student by 3:15pm will be charged a late fee of $1/minute. Late fees will automatically be applied to the card placed on file at the time of registration. School Closure Policy ---- Brilliant Bilingual clubs may close/cancel clubs due to certain circumstances (Extreme Weather Conditions, Natural Disasters, Infrastructure Problems). Parents/guardians will be informed via SMS or mobile notifications and email announcements. Make-up classes may or may not take place, depending on the nature of the closure and the school's assessment. All enrollment fees paid are non-refundable. Country Theme: Ecuador 🇪🇨 Students will journey to Ecuador as they get to know Eduardo, a Spanish-speaking friend who will share glimpses of his life, family, and culture throughout the session.

Students will be introduced to, and encouraged to explore, a variety of mediums—including drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking, mixed media, and collage—while receiving personalized guidance from an experienced instructor. Whether they're interested in building their technical skills or discovering thier own unique style, this class offers the freedom to experiment and create at your own pace. New teen students will complete three pre-designed projects with their teacher's guidance to help aid them in learning how to set-up/clean-up supplies and materials, get a feel for what mediums are available, and allow teachers to get a feel for the student's level of skill and art knowledge. What They’ll Learn: Medium Exploration: Gain hands-on experience with a wide range of art forms, including pencil and charcoal drawing, acrylic and watercolor painting, clay sculpture, printmaking, and collage techniques. Project Development: Learn how to conceptualize, plan, and execute your own independent projects. With teacher support, they’ll refine your ideas and bring them to life. Creative Techniques: Develop new skills in various artistic techniques, from layering and texture in mixed media to the technical aspects of ceramics and printmaking. Self-Expression: Find their own voice and style as they experiment with different materials and approaches to art-making. Critique & Feedback: Receive constructive feedback from the instructor and peers in a supportive and open environment to enhance their artistic process and growth. Who This Class Is For: Both new and continuing students. Teens ages 12-17 who are eager to create art more independently but want guidance, structure, and inspiration from a teacher. Students interested in experimenting with different art forms and techniques. Young artists who want to develop their skills and explore personal projects.

Each day includes a variety of Cookies & Canvas event, One Day Workshop, OR Pottery Painting & Open Studio time. Most projects will go home same day. (If they have pottery painting that day, they will need to be picked up following week) Kids enjoy stations as well as several art projects during their 4 hours of fun at the Art Studio! Groups separated by age under K-4 grades, 5-8 grades. Bring peanut free sack lunch, snack & water bottle. Please dress for the weather- as we do take a walk in the neighborhood and eat in the garden on days when we can.

More adventures come to life through imaginary play in this multi-age play class. A perfect opportunity for siblings to experience class together, or for children to practice more diverse social skills like leadership and peer modeling.

This fun and energetic combo class introduces young dancers to the fundamentals of both jazz and tap dance in a supportive and engaging environment. Students will build coordination, rhythm, flexibility, balance, and musicality while learning beginner jazz technique and foundational tap skills. Class will include warm-ups, across-the-floor exercises, basic combinations, and age-appropriate choreography designed to keep dancers moving and learning. Through both styles, dancers will develop confidence, classroom discipline, listening skills, and performance quality while exploring movement and self-expression. Jazz encourages strong technique, sharp movement, and stage presence, while tap focuses on rhythm, timing, and sound awareness. This class provides a strong foundation for future dance training and performance opportunities. No prior experience is required, just a willingness to learn and have fun! Required Materials: Black tap shoes Tan jazz shoes Comfortable dancewear (leotard, leggings, dance shorts, or fitted athletic wear) Hair secured away from the face Water bottle Optional: small dance bag for shoes and belongings Recital Costume This registration fee DOES NOT include costumes. Parents can expect to purchase 1 costume for their child for the end of semester recital, selected by the instructor of the class. This costume purchase is required.

In this acting class, students will dive deeper into the world of theatre as they rehearse and perform a short play (title to be announced). Actors will build skills in character development, stage movement, voice projection, and working as an ensemble. Through fun warm-ups, theatre games, and guided rehearsals, students will grow in confidence while learning what it takes to bring a full story to life. This class is perfect for both beginners and returning students who are ready for a structured rehearsal process and the excitement of performance. The session will culminate in a presentation of the play for family and friends.

This class will teach the student who is at the beginning of their musical journey how to read notes on a staff, how to understand musical terms in a piece of music, and how to understand and follow various parts in a choral piece. We will explore vocal ranges, matching pitch with a group, sight reading simple tunes, and following a choral part. This class is highly recommended for anyone interested in singing in the upper level choirs, especially for those with no other musical background.

Divino Voce is a mixed choral group for students who desire to continue growing their vocal and musical skills while singing exciting and increasingly challenging choral works at the high school level. Along with two concerts in December (Tuesday, December 1st at 7pm) and May (date TBD), Divino Voce may also perform at the Mall of America during the Christmas season (date TBD). For students not previously accepted into Divino Voce, an audition is required* to participate in this ensemble (registration will be opened to those who are selected to participate).
