Hike to an incredible Vegas viewpoint that even most locals don't know about! Our destination has a view of the ENTIRE Vegas skyline, from Mandalay Bay to Downtown. **Great for groups! Families! Team building!** We'll meet at Terrazza Park in the exclusive community of Lake Las Vegas. Our hike begins alongside the Las Vegas Wash, which features year-round flowing water, ponds, weirs, and lush vegetation that is unique in Vegas's desert landscape. After a half-mile, we'll turn off the main trail and follow a rocky trail up the hillside. Our hike will continue at a casual, scenic pace. Once we crest the ridgeline, we'll be rewarded with panoramic views of the entire Las Vegas valley! Bring your camera! We'll also be joined by my adorable pup, Annie! She's a joyful dog who LOVES to hike! She can't wait to meet you! The hike is about a mile each way, and gains approximately 500 feet of elevation overall. I will provide lights for everyone, and will bring surplus water.

We start this tour by looking down into the Whirlpool from the Niagara River gorge rim. We will then hike down 400+ steps into the gorge and along the Niagara River rapids trails to the Whirlpool flats. Along the way you'll learn about the river and historical events. When we reach the Whirlpool you will have time to explore on your own, be mezmorized by the famous Whirlpool rapids and take some of the best photos of your vacation. We will then take the trail up the stone staircase and walk back to our meeting spot. This tour is not recommended for children under the age of 10.

On this yoga and hiking adventure we will meet at a designated location and then guests will follow the guide to the trailhead. We'll then go on a 2-2.5 mile hike meandering through a beautiful desert eco-system, learning about plants and animals of the area along the way from our Wilderness First Responder and Utah Master Naturalist guide. Then, on top of the sticky Navajo Sandstone, we'll find a flat spot for a 1 hour yoga and meditation practice. While doing so, we'll have views of Zion National Park, the Pine Valley Mountains, or gorgeous candy cane stripped cliffs. Finally, the group will walk back. ~3-4 our tour. When tour guests asks us, "what one thing should I not miss in Portland," we pick the 5-mile (8-10 km) hike in Forest Park. No matter what the season, hiking in the park is entering another world right on the borders, and through the fabric, of the city. PLEASE NOTE THIS HIKE HAS 900 FT ELEVATION GAIN We offer two departures, both with varied terrain and about 900 ft (300 meter) elevation gain. The classic hike is focused around a Northwest Portland experience, and ends at the International Rose Test Garden (when in season), the Forest Park Experience at 9 a.m. We have limited 1:30 p.m. departures. Once weekly, we offer an afternoon hike that starts at Goose Hollow, through neighborhoods and up into the park (2:30 p.m.). Both pass iconic spots; Japanese Garden, Pittock Mansion, and Witch's Castle; but take a different approach to the forest. In Forest Park—within minutes leaving the street—you can forget, or wonder at the fact that you are still in a city.

Your New York State USA Licensed Hiking Guide will take you on an adventure hike 400 steps down to the Niagara River gorge. We will hike along the old railway trail to the Schoellkopf Power Plant Ruins. The hike features some narrow and rocky trails with great photo opportunities of the Niagara River. When we reach the power plant ruins, you'll have time to explore on your own. This is also the location where the Maid of the Mist docks the boats during the off season. We will take an elevator to the rim of the gorge. From there we will take the Discovery Niagara Shuttle back to our starting point, you can uber to your next destination or walk 1/2 mile on your own to to Niagara Falls. Your guide will help you make the best decision for your group.
