Hike to an incredible Vegas viewpoint that even most locals don't know about! Our destination has a view of the ENTIRE Vegas skyline, from Mandalay Bay to Downtown. **Great for groups! Families! Team building!** We'll meet at Terrazza Park in the exclusive community of Lake Las Vegas. Our hike begins alongside the Las Vegas Wash, which features year-round flowing water, ponds, weirs, and lush vegetation that is unique in Vegas's desert landscape. After a half-mile, we'll turn off the main trail and follow a rocky trail up the hillside. Our hike will continue at a casual, scenic pace. Once we crest the ridgeline, we'll be rewarded with panoramic views of the entire Las Vegas valley! Bring your camera! We'll also be joined by my adorable pup, Annie! She's a joyful dog who LOVES to hike! She can't wait to meet you! The hike is about a mile each way, and gains approximately 500 feet of elevation overall. I will provide lights for everyone, and will bring surplus water.

PLEASE NOTE THIS HIKE HAS 900 FT ELEVATION GAIN We offer two departures, both with varied terrain and about 900 ft (300 meter) elevation gain. The classic hike is focused around a Northwest Portland experience, and ends at the International Rose Test Garden (when in season), the Forest Park Experience at 9 a.m. We have limited 1:30 p.m. departures. Once weekly, we offer an afternoon hike that starts at Goose Hollow, through neighborhoods and up into the park (2:30 p.m.). Both pass iconic spots; Japanese Garden, Pittock Mansion, and Witch's Castle; but take a different approach to the forest. In Forest Park—within minutes leaving the street—you can forget, or wonder at the fact that you are still in a city.

On this yoga and hiking adventure we will meet at a designated location and then guests will follow the guide to the trailhead. We'll then go on a 2-2.5 mile hike meandering through a beautiful desert eco-system, learning about plants and animals of the area along the way from our Wilderness First Responder and Utah Master Naturalist guide. Then, on top of the sticky Navajo Sandstone, we'll find a flat spot for a 1 hour yoga and meditation practice. While doing so, we'll have views of Zion National Park, the Pine Valley Mountains, or gorgeous candy cane stripped cliffs. Finally, the group will walk back. ~3-4 our tour. Our 6-day Backpacking Summer Camp for youth in Washington’s Olympic National Park is designed for participants ages 14-18 who are either new or experienced backpackers. (Youth will be grouped with like ages.) This adventure summer camp in Olympic National Park focuses on leadership and outdoor skill-building with teens camping and hiking beside high alpine lakes, rivers, waterfalls, and meadows. Most trips have an opportunity to summit peaks and/or partake in some spectacular sunsets among some breath-taking geological formations. Discover the excitement of beginner‑friendly waterfall rappelling and canyoneering on the Cove Creek Canyon Adventure, a guided outdoor experience set in the scenic Pisgah National Forest. After checking in and completing gear sizing, you’ll enjoy a relaxed 1.5‑mile hike through lush forest to the top of Cove Creek Waterfall. Here, your guides will outfit you with technical gear and teach you the basics of rappelling before you practice your new skills on a training rappel. Once ready, you’ll descend a stunning 75‑foot waterfall followed by a second 45‑foot rappel, all while surrounded by beautiful canyon scenery. Throughout the trip, you’ll navigate knee‑deep creek water, scramble over boulders, and explore trails that run alongside the waterway. Join us for Whale Watching in our cool Alaskan waters and then view one of 38 glaciers from the Juneau Ice Fields - the spectacular Mendenhall Glacier. We guide you on a 2 hour whale watching tour, spotting Humpback whales and other wildlife. Then off to the Mendenhall Glacier to spend some time hiking, watching fish spawn at Steep Creek or enjoy an outstanding view from the Visitor Center. You get 1.5 hours at the park, but don't worry! That is the perfect amount of time to walk to nugget falls and take in the displays at the visitor center.

This is Big Bear Lakes' only snowshoe tour with a professional hiking guide. I have over 20 years of experience snowshoeing all the best trails in Big Bear Lake.
