The Oregon Coast is an experience like no other and our guides have selected a quieter, slower approach to the day: a visit to Haystack Rock in Cannon Beach; hikes through old-growth forests to views beyond what the common tourist sees; up-close encounters with the iconic monoliths that make the Oregon Coast so unusual; a lunch stop in a sweet beach town; recommendations for our favorite cinnamon rolls, pie or ice cream; sand (if you want it) between your toes. Day tours can feel long but ours feels more like a just-right exploration with plenty of time to sit however you like with the majesty of the ocean -- or spend most of your time wandering in the forest as you listen to waves crash beneath you. If you choose to walk with us in the forest, your day will include some short but steep low-elevation incline hiking.

On this yoga and hiking adventure we will meet at a designated location and then guests will follow the guide to the trailhead. We'll then go on a 2-2.5 mile hike meandering through a beautiful desert eco-system, learning about plants and animals of the area along the way from our Wilderness First Responder and Utah Master Naturalist guide. Then, on top of the sticky Navajo Sandstone, we'll find a flat spot for a 1 hour yoga and meditation practice. While doing so, we'll have views of Zion National Park, the Pine Valley Mountains, or gorgeous candy cane stripped cliffs. Finally, the group will walk back. ~3-4 our tour. SELF-GUIDED AUDIO TOUR: (Activation Code included in Ticket) Amble along the cliffs overlooking the Potomac River, taking in thundering waterfalls, exciting rock climbing excursions, and the region’s most perilous kayaking spots. On this self-guided audio tour, you’ll have an opportunity to explore a few hidden gems found on the Great Falls Park trails. I’ll also show you one of my favorite, wilder paths at the national park - all guided step-by-step through GPS. You’ll see that there’s much more to Great Falls than its viewing platforms. You'll see areas tourists don't know about, including views of hidden waterfalls, the region's best rock climbing and rappelling spots, and a route along the canal and through an abandoned colonial-era city. There are also several opportunities to go off-trail to get up-close with the rapids at the falls. This tour can take up to two hours and, while it’s not especially strenuous, it’s plenty exciting! I provide bottled water, a snack bar and a clean backpack for everyone. For centuries members of the Cahuilla tribe hiked to these hill tops that overlook the Coachella Valley to send smoke signals to nearby tribes that they traded with. The trails are unnamed, so they're mostly known & used by locals & don't get nearly as busy as the other easy to find hiking trails in Palm Springs during the busy winter/spring tourism season, so it's a much more peaceful hiking area. These are some of the best Palm Springs hiking trails with lots of scenic views of the Coachella Valley & a hike into a hidden Palm tree oasis. I know these trails well & the most scenic viewpoints along the way. You'll see desert vegetation close up & views of the desert valley floor all the way up to beautiful nearby mountain peaks, while getting in some fantastic exercise.
