Our Advanced Art Class is perfect for children ages 9–14 who are ready to work more independently while still benefiting from the guidance and support of a teacher. Students create larger-scale projects using a variety of mediums, including acrylic on canvas, watercolor, sculpture, mixed media, and more. We encourage creativity, individual expression, and the development of artistic skills at each student’s own pace. Each month features a new theme to inspire creativity, along with access to hundreds of images in our in-house gallery for reference and inspiration. Whether your child has years of experience or is simply passionate about art, our welcoming studio environment provides the perfect place to learn, create, and grow.

Class Description:
This teen art class is designed for teens who are ready to begin exploring their creative potential and how to start developing their own artistic voice. Students will be introduced to, and encouraged to explore, a variety of mediums—including drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking, mixed media, and collage—while receiving personalized guidance from an experienced instructor. Whether they're interested in building their technical skills or discovering thier own unique style, this class offers the freedom to experiment and create at your own pace. New teen students will complete three pre-designed projects with their teacher's guidance to help aid them in learning how to set-up/clean-up supplies and materials, get a feel for what mediums are available, and allow teachers to get a feel for the student's level of skill and art knowledge. What They’ll Learn: Medium Exploration: Gain hands-on experience with a wide range of art forms, including pencil and charcoal drawing, acrylic and watercolor painting, clay sculpture, printmaking, and collage techniques. Project Development: Learn how to conceptualize, plan, and execute your own independent projects. With teacher support, they’ll refine your ideas and bring them to life. Creative Techniques: Develop new skills in various artistic techniques, from layering and texture in mixed media to the technical aspects of ceramics and printmaking. Self-Expression: Find their own voice and style as they experiment with different materials and approaches to art-making. Preschoolers can now experience the magic of Broadway with a class designed specifically for them! Each week, Broadway Little Stars introduces preschoolers to a new musical through activities inspired by the “show of the week” and designed to get them singing, dancing, and acting along. Classes are taught by professional teaching artists who are experts at engaging and educating children in fun, developmentally appropriate ways. Whether your child is ready for the spotlight or simply loves musicals, this class is for them!

Our most popular class! This is for all children to attend together, not just siblings. It is recommended for children who are mobile to 5 years old. Multi-aged children get to experience and learn diverse social skills like leadership and peer modeling. There is a new fun theme every week! All children may participate in guided activities and end class with bubbles and parachute time.

Our Pottery Classes at The Atelier School of Art provide a hands-on experience in clay sculpting and ceramics, tailored to different age groups and skill levels. Younger students (ages 6 and up) will focus on basic hand-building techniques such as pinch pots, coiling, and slab construction, helping them develop foundational skills in working with clay. Older students will have the opportunity to explore more advanced techniques, including wheel-throwing, glazing, and surface decoration. With guidance from experienced instructors, students will create unique, functional, and decorative pieces while learning about form, texture, and craftsmanship. Whether learning the basics or refining their technique, students in our pottery program will gain confidence, creativity, and an appreciation for the art of ceramics in a fun and supportive environment!

Join us at Luna del Soul Dance Studio for our kids' ballroom classes where fun, movement, and learning come together. No experience or partner needed! In class, we’ll explore a mix of playful styles like Cha Cha, Rumba, Jive, and Samba. Kids will learn basic steps, simple partner work (with or without a partner), and short choreographies designed to build confidence and keep them smiling. We can’t wait to dance with you!
