We’ll visit the sites of the legendary Fillmore East, the long gone CBGB’s, and The Bottom Line, places that launched the careers of some of the biggest names in music. We’ll also walk to some lesser known, but equally significant, sites where artists honed their craft and first gained a following, places like Club 82, On the Rocks, and Great Gildersleeves. Were you at The Bottom Line in 1975 when Bruce Springsteen first blew the socks off the music world with Born to Run? Or did you see Patti Smith at CBGB’s in 1976 after the release of Horses? What a SHOW! We’ll also revisit some of the legendary shows of The Who and Pink Floyd at the Fillmore East, as well as the New York Dolls at the Mercer Arts Center. Join us for three days of Fall Break Fun at Jordan’s Corner ! On October 1st, we’re kicking things off with Pumpkins & Apples Day. Campers will paint and decorate mini pumpkins, play in pumpkin spice playdough and orange kinetic sand, and explore a sink-or-float experiment using real pumpkins and apples. We’ll taste different kinds of apples, make apple stamp art, and run through active games like pumpkin relay races and an apple balancing challenge. The day wraps up with a cozy apple snack to celebrate the season. On October 2nd, it’s time for a Monster Mash Bash! Kids will create their own silly or spooky monster crafts with googly eyes and fuzzy pipe cleaners, whip up glittery monster slime in the slime lab, and dance along to Monster Freeze Dance. We’ll have a “Feed the Monster” beanbag toss game, green ooze sensory bins, and encourage everyone to wear their silliest monster socks or headbands for extra fun. Finally, on October 3rd, we’ll wrap up with Spooky Science & Silly Spells. Campers will mix bubbling witches’ brews in mini cauldrons, decorate their own magic wands and potion bottles, and enjoy a special storytime with friendly witch and wizard tales. The day will include a broomstick obstacle course and a magic potion juice bar where kids can mix colorful, safe “potions” to sip. Friday is PIZZA day. No lunch required.

This tour departs from Keahou Harbor in South Kona and enjoys a short 5-minute boat ride to our snorkeling site, Manta Village. Your Captain and snorkel guide will educate you on Kona's famous manta rays and will discuss our safe and humane approach to engaging with the gentle giants. After entering the water, you'll hold onto our lightboard, with your feet propped up by floatation devices, as the manta rays perform a graceful ballet beneath you. The manta rays filter feed on plankton that naturally gathers at the surface just before sunset, then accumulates underneath our lights. This is an opportunity to enjoy an evening on the water and watch in amazement as the manta rays glide around and dance for you. Hop aboard our luxury style vehicles to explore the iconic Whitney Plantation. On the morning of your tour, our driver will call you before their arrival and will also greet you when he or she arrives. While traveling out to the plantation he or she points out interesting facts along the way, listening to various types of New Orleans jazz music. Upon arrival at the plantation, they will check you in and give you information for the beginning to the end of the tour, such as what to explore after the tour and where to meet once the tour is over. The self guided tour is one hour fifteen minutes, we allow our guest time to explore the museum and use the restroom before heading back into the city. This tour goes out twice at 8:00 a.m. to approximately 1:30p.m. and 10:00 a.m. to approximately 3:30 p.m. this time includes tour and travel time.
