🎤 Impromptu Speaking & Communication Skills: Level 2 For Grades 5–8 (For Level 2, students MUST have taken our Impromptu Speech Class between 2024-2025 or be recommended by our instructors for Level 2. Students tackle longer 1–3 minute speeches, more challenging prompts, and advanced structure and performance techniques—all in a fun, supportive, and motivating environment. At Highest Speak, we teach students WHAT to say, HOW to structure it, and HOW to say anything at ANY time with confidence, clarity, and purpose. ⭐ How Each 1-Hour Class Works 1. High-Energy Ice Breaker & Warm-Up We start with engaging, fast-moving activities that help students loosen up, sharpen quick-thinking skills, and get comfortable speaking right away. Level 2 Skill of the Day (More Depth + More Challenge) A short, focused lesson introduces a more advanced impromptu skill, such as: building longer, organized 1–3 minute responses, adding stronger openings and impactful conclusions, defending opinions with clarity, elevating vocal delivery and performance, speaking under time pressure with poise. Clear, practical, and instantly applicable in school, interviews, and daily conversations. 3. Everyone speaks multiple times each class and receives targeted, supportive feedback to strengthen structure, confidence, and performance. Enter a world of imagination at our Fairy Frolic Creation Camp, where students spend the week crafting their very own magical fairy house along with a variety of enchanting fairy-themed art projects. From tiny furniture and woodland décor to whimsical paintings and sparkling accessories, each day offers a new creative adventure inspired by the fairy realm. We encourage campers to join us for the full week so they can fully build and customize their fairy house, but single-day attendance is welcome they just may not complete a full house. Every day includes a complete project that students can finish in class and bring home with pride. Hi-Five Hoops League Basketball – Important Details Game Times: 4:00-4:50 PM or 5:00-5:50 PM, they rotate each week and your will get a schedule Locations: The Berto Center & Hi-Five Sports Zone Hi-Five Hoops League Basketball focuses on fundamental skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and hard work—all in a fun, fast-paced environment! This league is perfect for boys and girls in Kindergarten through 4th grade who want to learn the game the right way while having a blast on the court. Key Details: 🏀 Each player will receive a jersey and shorts once teams are formed. 📅 Game times may vary based on enrollment. ⚠️ Scheduling conflicts must be submitted by Week 1. Discover Fun, Leadership, and New Skills at GrowFit Camp! At GrowFit Camp, kids aged 4-10 dive into a world of sports and games, discovering new athletic passions in a fun, supportive environment. For teens aged 13-16, our Counselors-In-Training (CIT) program offers the ultimate mix of leadership training, community service opportunities, and exciting gameplay with younger campers—all while boosting résumés with valuable experience! CITs operate alongside camp counselors under the guidance of a trained coach, learning leadership skills and playing a variety of sports and games. CITs are technically campers, participating fully in camp activities while gaining leadership experience. The program is $30/day with limited spots available each week, requiring a full-session commitment. What to Bring: Water Bottle: Stay hydrated! Refill stations are available on-site. Shoes & Clothing: Comfortable athletic shoes and black athletic shorts or pants are required. Each CIT will receive a camp shirt to wear for the week. Our Pottery Classes at The Atelier School of Art provide a hands-on experience in clay sculpting and ceramics, tailored to different age groups and skill levels. Younger students (ages 6 and up) will focus on basic hand-building techniques such as pinch pots, coiling, and slab construction, helping them develop foundational skills in working with clay. Older students will have the opportunity to explore more advanced techniques, including wheel-throwing, glazing, and surface decoration.
