Unlocking Creativity Through Core Art Foundations Our Elementary Art Education Program is designed to foster creativity and build essential skills through a sequential and cyclical curriculum. By progressively exploring the Elements of Art and the Principles of Design, students not only learn art techniques but also develop a deep appreciation for art history. Here's what our young artists will explore: Foundational Concepts: Dive into the Elements of Art and Principles of Design to create visually compelling pieces. Drawing Skills: From observational and perspective drawing to life and figure sketches, students refine their ability to represent the world around them. Students will explore a diverse range of dry media, including graphite, oil pastels, chalk pastels, charcoal, and ink. Glow in the Dark Art Unleash your creativity in a unique setting at the "In the Dark Art Camp," where young artists are invited to explore the mysterious and captivating world of glow-in-the-dark and UV-responsive art. Advanced Art Open Studio Thursdays, 4:30 – 6:30 PM This open studio class is designed for advanced art students who are ready to take creative control. Over several sessions, students will choose their own mediums and develop independent projects with the guidance of an experienced instructor. Whether working in drawing, painting, mixed media, or sculpture, students are encouraged to explore personal themes, experiment with materials, and refine their artistic voice. This is a supportive space for focused, self-directed work and constructive feedback.

Summer Semester (May-August) THERE IS NO CLASS JULY 4. The price is adjusted therefore no make-ups are needed. Exercise the imagination at the ART House. This class is designed for preschool children aged 4 and 5 to introduce them to art and proper classroom behavior. In this class they will work on fine motor skills through creating art! Your child will practice using scissors, holding a pencil and paint brush, and much more through drawing, painting, and sculpting. Classes are limited in sizes so sign your child up today!

Advanced Art: Autumn Series Thursdays, 4:30 – 6:30 PM Celebrate the beauty of the season in this four-week advanced art class focused on autumnal themes. Students will explore color, texture, and composition through a variety of mediums while drawing inspiration from fall landscapes, changing leaves, and seasonal light. Each session will build toward the creation of a final, refined autumn-themed painting. Perfect for experienced young artists looking to deepen their skills and create a cohesive, beautiful piece over time.

Art Lessons perfect for ages 4-6 years. 1-hour class We will use a variety of media, including watercolor, acrylic & tempera paints, oil pastels, mixed media, and clay for our beginner classes throughout the school-year! Join us on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday each week... or whenever it's convenient for you! We do the same project each of those days for each week, and then something new for the next week!

Each day includes a variety of Cookies & Canvas event, One Day Workshop, OR Pottery Painting & Open Studio time. Most projects will go home same day. (If they have pottery painting that day, they will need to be picked up following week) Kids enjoy stations as well as several art projects during their 4 hours of fun at the Art Studio! Groups separated by age under K-4 grades, 5-8 grades. Bring peanut free sack lunch, snack & water bottle. Please dress for the weather- as we do take a walk in the neighborhood and eat in the garden on days when we can.
