UNEXPECTED ANIMALS Join us for a morning of art that is creative, hands on, and a whole lot of fun! At this camp your child will create a functional animal sculpture that can hold things like a phone, pencil, paintbrush, and more! Sculptures will be made using polymer clay which is baked and cooled and then painted. Your child will come home with a unique work of art. SECRET GARDEN Come to the Art House for a morning of hands on fun! At this camp your child will create a garden gnome using polymer clay which is baked and cooled and then painted! JUST LIKE VINCENT VAN GOGH Join us for a morning of art that is fun, hands on, and a blast of creativity! At this camp your child will get to learn about art, get their creative juices flowing, and have fun creating their own work of art. Van Gogh's most famous painting, Starry Starry Night, comes to life at this camp with a mix of both texture and color! Campers will get to sculpt the swirls and designs of the painting using polymer clay to create a textured tile. Summer Semester (Jun-mid Aug) This class is for students wanting to learn all about watercolor and gouache paints. Gouache is an awesome but lesser known medium that it can be used like watercolor paint, so the techniques learned can be done with either mediums. Fall Semester Session 1 (August-October) "Every child is an artist"-Pablo Picasso. Discover the artist in your child! In this class your child will refine their fine motor skills as they learn to draw, paint, and sculpt, while also learning a little art history. Students produce a variety of projects with various mediums and subjects in order to learn different techniques and skills in creating art.
