Join us for a camp that celebrates the reason for the season with some hands on fun! At this camp your child will create sculptures of three characters from the Nativity scene. Characters can include Baby Jesus, Mary, Joseph, a wise man, a shepherd, sheep, donkey, cow, camel, or angel. Sculptures will be made using polymer clay which is baked and cooled and then painted! Your child will come home with a completed work of art. Fall Semester Session 2 (October-December) If you’re in middle school and a fan of action, fantasy, art, or anything in that vein, then come join the Dungeons & Dragons Game & Art class! This class is a fusion of traditional art projects and social team-building games; we will be learning how to draw and sketch quickly as we act out characters in a narrative, while also creating maps, portraits, and inventory sheets to fully design and flesh out a character of our own. This class will help you learn how to build worlds, create characters, and work with others on a personal and group basis. Fall Semester Session 2 (October-December) Explore the vast world of imagination and visual storytelling using technology to create art. Class is taught using the program Procreate for Apple iPad, which is strongly recommended. Other programs may suffice, but we cannot promise a 1:1 comparison of lessons for any other programs used.
