Budding artists capturing multiple objects tend to begin with the largest or most attractive one first, finish it, and move on to the next. By studying multiple object composition, line and air perspective, as well as color mixing, students learn to depict multiple three-dimensional objects and build a solid foundation for future artistic study. Our academic method of teaching will open the eyes and minds of aspiring artists to see the myriad of colors and tones in everyday objects. With these foundational skills, students will learn techniques to express their creativity. Classes alternate between Drawing and Painting on a weekly basis. All skill levels welcome. Students will learn to draw and paint multiple objects as a group taking into account proportions, depth, structures, along with light and shadows. Using acrylic or oil, students will flex these core principles of composition to attain the freedom to draw and paint three-dimensional still-life, landscapes and fictional paintings. Procuring painting and drawing materials are the responsibility of each student, but we are of course happy to advise which ones we think are best.

Introducing our FUNdamentals class, the perfect way to kickstart your child’s gymnastics journey! Designed specifically for preschoolers, this class fosters confidence, patience, control, and coordination, using fun, age-appropriate gymnastics equipment. Through engaging circuits and drills, your little ones will develop fine motor skills while discovering the excitement of being a budding gymnast! Here’s what our young athletes will work on: Strength & Flexibility: Building a strong foundation for gymnastics. Gymnastics Body Positions: Learning shapes and colors to help reinforce body awareness. Tumbl Trak: Practicing jumps, body control, proper landing, and beginner tumbling. Vault: Mastering running, jumping, and body positions on the springboard. Floor: Introduction to forward rolls, backward rolls, handstands, and cartwheel basics. Bars: Focusing on grip strength, chin holds, L-holds, front supports, and more! Beam: Balance, walks, jumps, and beginner skills on the beam. Sign up for each week- we have a new curriculum each week! Kids will enjoy 4 hours of Art and Art related Activities! Day Camp is a drop off program & for ages 4 and older. Each day includes a variety of Cookies & Canvas event, One Day Workshop, OR Pottery Painting & Open Studio time. Most projects will go home same day. (If they have pottery painting that day, they will need to be picked up following week) Kids enjoy stations as well as several art projects during their 4 hours of fun at the Art Studio! Groups separated by age under K-4 grades, 5-8 grades. Bring peanut free sack lunch, snack & water bottle. Please dress for the weather- as we do take a walk in the neighborhood and eat in the garden on days when we can.
