You don't have to be a pro to create beautiful art! All it takes is some practice, patience, and inspiration to create something magnificent. For my age 10+ KVArteests, we work in oil paints on projects each artist chooses with my input. This is a class for those with enough art experience or can-do attitude to work largely independently.

Winter Break Camp at The Giggling Pig! Keep the creativity going during winter break with a week of art, fun, and hands-on activities! Campers will spend their days creating a variety of winter-inspired projects while exploring different art materials, techniques, and creative styles. This fun-filled session will introduce young artists to four exciting art mediums, where they'll explore and experiment with different ways to create! Each project typically takes two class to complete, giving students time to dive deeper into their work and really develop their skills. Along the way, they'll learn essential art terminology, learn and build on different techniques, and even discover a bit of art history to inspire their creativity. As students work with different materials, they'll enhance their hand-eye coordination, build problem-solving skills, and gain confidence in their ability to express themselves through art. With our small 6:1 student-to-teacher ratio, each child gets plenty of individual attention to help them grow and succeed. Throughout the school year, each new session brings fresh projects that build on what they’ve already learned, offering a continuous journey of artistic exploration. By the end of the session, your child will have not only a collection of unique artwork but a stronger foundation in creativity and a real love for making art!

Welcome to Winter Storytelling at Highest Speak! No prerequisites – this is our introductory storytelling and writing class, perfect for beginners! Whether your child is brand new to storytelling or just wants to boost their confidence, this fun, high-energy class is the perfect place to start! Students will improve both their public speaking and creative writing skills as they learn how to craft and perform powerful stories in a supportive, laughter-filled environment. From developing story structure to delivering stories out loud, students will have a blast while building real-world communication skills. And what a perfect time of year to tell magical stories! Winter is full of wonder, imagination, and inspiration—making it the ideal season to bring creative ideas to life through words and performance. Students will work on both prepared stories and impromptu storytelling, building flexibility and confidence as they learn to think on their feet and express themselves clearly and creatively. Each class includes: Open Forum: positive group discussion to warm up and build connection Mini Lesson: focused instruction on a storytelling or performance concept Speaking Games: fast-paced, hilarious activities to boost confidence and creativity Story Assignment: writing or speaking activity that reinforces the day’s lesson Throughout the course, students will write, share, and present their original stories—building confidence in both written expression and spoken delivery.
