In a small group experience, you will learn how to assess seemingly haunted phenomena and what compromises an actual haunting using your senses and research equipment! You will be instructed in: what kind of phenomena make a “genuine haunting”, how to approach investigating such phenomena, to employ your senses and respect your psychic feelings, learn about various types of paranormal equipment, and you’ll get equipped with two great tools to track paranormal activity. This tour has been going on almost every night since January 2002. We will share stories and anecdotes from the tour related to the sites we visit and relevant historical details. The tour is not designed to frighten but to engage and educate you in the investigation of haunted phenomena. During the history of the tour, we have experienced a wide range of paranormal phenomena including occasional sightings, as well as paranormal sounds, scents, and tactile encounters.

The 10,000 Islands Wildlife Refuge, adjacent to Everglades National Park, is inaccessible except by boat. Our tour, led by an experienced sheller and certified master naturalist will whisk you to a remote barrier island within the Refuge. While barrier islands such as Sanibel or Captiva offer great shelling, these islands rarely have a foot print on the beaches. Not only can you experience great shelling in a remote location, you will have the opportunity to see dolphin, possibly sea turtles or manatee, and a multitude of birds such as ospreys, eagles, roseate spoonbills, pelicans and the like while cruising to your island. While shelling, learn about the nuances of tides and currents and how it affects sea life. Your captain/guide can make your tour a family learning experience. Two wheels and a thirst for adventure are all you’ll need when you ride a Pedego Electric Bike around Amelia Island. Take this self-guided and customizable tour starting at Pedego Amelia and cruise your way through seven miles of natural bliss to Big Talbot Island State Park. The trail is full of stunning scenery, and you might see a few of the local wildlife along the ride. A smart helmet is included with the self-guided tour. The helmet allows you to talk to everyone in your group and you can link it to music on your phone if you would like to. Since you are not with a tour group, this tour is customizable and additional stops can be recommended at the bike shop. The tour route is EASY to follow, and full written directions will be reviewed at Pedego Amelia. Note: All participants must be able to safely ride a bike and certify that they have done so in the past 5 years. We require an in-store deposit using a chip card for all rentals.
