For example one week might focus on a power car where children try different gear combinations and another week might focus on building a car with sails and learn all about wind resistance and its effect on speed. Preschoolers can now experience the magic of Broadway with a class designed specifically for them! Each week, Broadway Little Stars introduces preschoolers to a new musical through activities inspired by the “show of the week” and designed to get them singing, dancing, and acting along. Classes are taught by professional teaching artists who are experts at engaging and educating children in fun, developmentally appropriate ways. Whether your child is ready for the spotlight or simply loves musicals, this class is for them!

Celebrate fall the Corner House way: with paint, paper, and a pumpkin to reimagine. In this 90-minute drop-in workshop, every artist receives a blank paper maché pumpkin and full creative license to make it their own. Our studio will be stocked with paint, collage papers, ribbons, and embellishments, plus plenty of inspiration to spark new directions. Artists can go spooky or sweet, modern or classic, even give it a face and turn your piece into a Jack O'Lantern. Unlike the real thing, a paper maché pumpkin never rots, so what you make becomes a keepsake to bring out season after season. Great for all ages and a lovely way to make something together. Workshop includes : - a 5x8" paper maché pumpkin - wide selection of art materials and embellisments - 90 minutes of studio time with our wonderful teachers Mixed ages 5–10. Little ones get more help and big kids get more room to run with it. This program does not require students to have prior art-making experience. There is a one-time, pre-requisite Online Form Class each student who is just starting Fine Art Fundamentals must complete by the third week of classes. This class teaches students about form, values and composition. You will be notified to sign up for this class if this is the first time your child is taking Fine Art Fundamentals.

Get ready to ROCK OUT and shine! Dancers will learn the basic techniques of hip-hop listening to their favorite songs, K-Pop included! Kids will increase in flexibility, stamina, and rhythmic ability while boosting their self-esteem. Perform in a dance show wearing Popstar costumes on the last class. Broadway Stars was created by a professional performer turned child development specialist with the primary goal of helping children develop the foundational skills and technique every musical theater performer needs while giving them the opportunity to find their voice, build confidence, and do what every budding Broadway Star loves most: PERFORM! Classes are taught by a team of professional teaching artists with years of experience in the classroom and on professional stages and feature a customized curriculum designed to challenge and showcase the strengths of each young performer while helping prepare them to participate in our mainstage musical this Spring. Each week, your child will participate in acting games, choreography rehearsal, and vocal coachings as they learn scenes and songs from Broadway Musicals that they will perform onstage for family and friends at the end of the semester. Whether your child is destined for the lights of Broadway or simply loves to perform with their friends, this class will spark their creativity and give them the confidence to shine both onstage and off! *While participation in our Fall Semester is not required to enroll in our Spring Production classes, it is strongly encouraged. *Our Fall Finale will take place on a weeknight the week of December 14.
