Preschool Prep is a toddler's first step to preschool! This class lets parents and children play together, explore, and practice all the skills they'll need for their school days ahead. Practice a gentle separation time during class, where teachers lead children in a short social time without their parents. Preschool Prep with HOMER is a NEW Academic Class for Ages 2-3! Children will learn early literacy, math, independence, and social skills. We are delighted to introduce Preschool Prep with Homer as the first jointly created class by Gymboree Play & Music and HOMER, the early learning program designed for children ages 2 through 6. Preschool Prep is a transitional class for 2- to 3-year-olds that uses children's interests to help build both knowledge and foundational skills. Another special element of this program is its easy extension from classroom to home, as we provide at-home parent tips and HOMER app suggestions to encourage learning outside of class time.

New policy to discourage no shows: a fee will be charged when you register and refunded to you when you attend class. We know that things come up, but a simple email, call or text (571-250-7719), even right before class starts, will get your fee back if you can't attend. Join Sing with Emily and Mrs. Courtney for a 45 minute music and movement class! We'll sing, dance, play instruments, enjoy musical story time and more. Our class is designed to create a special musical bond between caregivers and their children. Helmets and other safety gear must be worn, and children may only use the items they bring.

This is a great workshop for the parents to GO OUT and let their child have a fun-filled FRIDAY evening with us! Activity: Come dressed in your costume and trick-or-treat in our kitchen with all your monster friends. This class is designed for pre-mobile infants, sitters, and crawlers, offering a gentle introduction to our indoor play equipment. Through age-appropriate sensory stimulation and activities like parachute play, babies build upper body strength, stability, and coordination. Teacher-led discussion, parent sharing, songs, and bubbles create a supportive and fun environment for both babies and caregivers during these early months.

Learn to prepare a classic Christmas Cake to take home and share with family. This elegant European cake features a soft chocolate cake rolled with dark cherries, apricot preserves and whipped cream and is cloaked with chocolate ganache. We'll also have meringue mushrooms to decorate the log. Along the way students will learn the techniques of making sponge cakes and simple decorating tips. Ages 10 to 16.

Parent's Night Out (PNO) is an opportunity for parents to enjoy dinner out, spend time with friends, take care of errands or chores, and even see a movie! Enjoy the evening while your children are having fun and are cared for by Footsteps’ staff! PNO includes dinner, fun activities, and a movie. Children are welcome to bring Pajamas. Young children will have the option of going to bed. Electronics are allowed, but their use may be limited. Footsteps does not take responsibility for any loss or damage that may occur. Preschool siblings 3 years old or older must be fully toilet trained. Infants & Toddlers are only allowed to attend at our Nesbit Puma Cubs preschool location. PNO is subject to minimum enrollment requirements and may be canceled if the minimum is not met.
