Learn all about our exciting past and look to our future in History 1 camp at UAC. Do you know what aircraft carrier shot down the most planes in US Naval history or how many people have really escaped from Alcatraz? Learn about the Gold Rush and WW2, climb aboard the Eureka and the Bal Clutha and investigate a giant aircraft carrier. How many miles of cable there are on the Golden Gate Bridge? How was the Apollo 11 space capsule recovered? Find out the answers to these questions as you make history during this fun filled week of discovery.

She had a great time! One tiny regret was a ruined t-shirt the first day (no aprons, apparently), so just making sure that they have them in the future would be good.

My kid seemed to really enjoy it--especially the Rockridge library visit in after-care. The Rockridge BART pick-up/drop-off location is by far the easiest to find location of any type of camp/care/school scenario. The ease of finding parking and proximity to the pick-up spot reduces a lot of stress. Parents happy + kid happy = awesome for everyone. The detailed information sent beforehand also helps. Great job everyone!

With payment of camp fee, everything is included except lunch and pre and post day care (pre and post care may be purchased as options). All museum entrance fees, transportation costs, instruction, and two snacks per day are included.
