I've cared for many children and elderly, most importantly my Mom, who was afflicted with dementia. She was a RN (nurse) and I watched and/or assisted her care for MANY family members, friends, neighbors, nuns and even complete strangers she encountered when out and about. In January, 2019, I cared for a friends 95-yr-old father who was literally dying. He was extremely grateful and impressed with my care, especially as no one believed he was really dying and needed help to care for himself. It was a pleasure and a joy to spend his last days with him, and many others. I also stayed in the hospital with a friend's mother who was dying, as she was afraid to stay at the hospital over night by herself. Again, no one in the family would stay with her over night, so I volunteered to do so.
