I feel strongly that young children need to be loved, nurtured, and allowed to play in a safe home. I am very caring and believe it is important to teach the children at my daycare to share, be kind and have respect for one another. Our daily activities include reading books, completing puzzles, playing both indoors and outdoors when the weather is appropriate, laughing, singing songs, enjoying snack and lunchtime together, and learning proper manners all in the comfort of a home environment. Our home has a large wrap around deck where the children love riding their big wheels, running or playing in the sand table, water table, etc. Also on the grounds is a spacious playground for the children to enjoy. I love my job. I love providing a safe environment for your children during the day when you cannot be with them, and I hope to see your child become a member of our family. I'm blessed to have some truly incredible and very qualified assistants and some terrific families. I am a happily married mother of two grown children who attended the Waldorf School as part of their early education and are graduates of Beverly High. SETTING: The childcare is located in a separate dedicated space in my home that was purpose built for childcare by my husband. The floors are heated, the furniture is custom built and the space is large, bright and welcoming. We have separate napping rooms for the infants and the toddlers. There is an acre of property to play on. Our home sits atop a hill with sunshine abound for outside play, yet has a shaded play area to shelter the children from the summer sun. It's not uncommon to see the children tending the flower or vegetable gardens by watering, picking flowers or food for inside. The children just naturally like to help and take part.
