Part-time Child Care Giver

Hi, I'm Marci! I have 10+ years of childcare experience ranging from ages 12 mo+. I left my long term corporate job to pursue childcare full-time about 2 years ago and never looked back. Outside of nannying, I teach swim lessons to the littles at a Swim Academy, and pet sit/house sit for numerous clients. I am a graduate of the Art Institute of Charlotte so I am very hands-on and creative. I love doing arts/crafts with the kids I care for. I'm also an active nanny. We spend a lot of time at the pool, riding bikes, walks, park, library/museums (pre-covid), etc.

We have 2 girls and 2 boys (3,4,10,13) that she watches occasionally for date nights or when husband and I have to attend business dinners... and she has dog sat a few times for us when we left out of town. We moved from out of state and prior to moving to NC we had only used Family or close friends for babysitting. We were so scared to use a "stranger" to care for our kids but knew we needed someone help occasionally. We tried a HS kid in the neighborhood, but she was overwhelmed the first time she babysat and had a busy life so not as dependable for date nights. We interviewed a few other people and when we found Marci, it just felt right! Her references checked out and the kids connected with her from the first interview. She is very dependable, organized, friendly, and the kids love her! They often ask "when is Ms Marci going to come over again?". We are so blessed to call Marci our sitter and can't imagine not having her - I know our children are in great hands.
