$16 – 21/hr
Our daughter is 24 and has mild intellectual disabilities that limit her independence. She has lived away from home (school, camp) and is independent with self-care. She cannot take public transportation alone, cannot navigate shopping for her personal needs alone, and needs other supports reflecting her intellectual impairment. We are looking for someone with a car who is energetic and willing to befriend a happy, compassionate, young adult. Typical days include transport to vocational engagements, plans for lunch, light housekeeping (self care related to our daughter's room and laundry), visits to the local camp for exercise where you can join in, and, horseback riding and other activities that are meaningful.
Pay is $19. 50, on the books; reimbursement for travel. Background test.
