Joyous Montessori is a unique school. We strongly believe and teach the Montessori philosophy, and we are passionate about caring for and loving all children entrusted to us. Our trained and certified staff members focus on high-quality instruction and one-on-one attention for each child. We are proud of our low student-to-teacher ratio, as this creates the perfect learning environment for the children. Each child at Joyous Montessori is encouraged daily to reach his or her full potential. In addition to our quality materials and curriculum, we have an extensive enrichment program through which we educate the whole child.

Joyous Montessori begins accepting infants by the time they are three months of age. Our highly professional and well trained staff ensure a safe, fun, and creative learning environment. All the children are given many opportunities through planned age appropriate activities to develop their large motor skills, verbal skills and social skills. Our Infant room is brightly decorated and very inviting.

Students in transitional Toddler class touch on all five Montessori concepts, Practical Life, Sensorial Life, Math, Language, Cultural/Geography. The certified Teachers ensure through well planned lesson plans that all students are being challenged daily to develop self help skills and to become independent in their daily activities.

Our Primary class offers a wide variety of Montessori material that gives the student many choices throughout the day. All of the Montessori concepts are explored through well planned activities geared toward each individual child and their abilities and progress. The students in our Primary class are learning in a much more detailed manner than the younger classes with focus on Writing and reading, Geography, Math, Practical life skills and Sensorial.

At BHFS Daycare & Learning Center we strive to provide your child with the best possible learning environment. Children thrive from routine in their classroom setting. So their day consists of music, small and large motor activities, calendar time and learning centers (math, reading, and writing). At this age children learn by doing. New skills are being developed every day. Our teachers will create daily lesson plans that reflect a Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) Kindergarten curriculum. Our curriculum is designed as a two-year program that prepares your child for an outstanding kindergarten experience.
