I need a hands-on care provider for my father who is 90 years old with metastatic lung cancer. He can walk with a walker but is weak andneeds some cueing. Assistance with toileting, hygiene, dressing, toothbrushing, possibly bathing, some laundry. Seeking someone to handle simple meal preparation and improve this vegetarian's nutritional status. Duties include providing companionship to this retired professor and ex-Marine, who can tell a good story when he has the energy. Need patience and need to speak slowly and clearly. Looking for a kind, calm person to help nurture him in this difficult time. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, vaccinated, and comfortable with a cat.
