South Weymouth Caregiver Jobs

Hello! I am looking for a part-time caregiver to watch my 1-year-old son for about 10-15 hours a week. It would also be a bonus if this person could do the occasional (much needed) date night. :) Due to COVID, like many other families, I am currently working from home and have been juggling childcare between my husband & I and only close family. My job has has not given me a date for when I will be required to return to the office, but I am hoping to establish a relationship and find someone I can trust so the transition will be easier when this happens. While I am still working from home, there is some flexibility with the start/end times on the requested days but I would need to have a firmer schedule once I went back. T is a charming compassionate boy who has a heck of a life filled with trauma and change. He requires love and care and enjoys making friends, helping with projects as well as doing art and creative play with legos and such. He can become frustrated easily but with quiet and careful guidance he can generally keep it together. Looking for someone to get him off the bus daily, prepare snack and dinners and keep him busy and sometimes put him to bed so I may either work or visit with my 2 other children which do not live w me. About who needs care: I am recovering from ankle surgery. My partner has frontal temporal lobe dementia. She needs care while I recover. She loves puzzles drawing coloring and cards. She can do self care but not without some direction. About the care needs: Quiet personality. Caring. Experience with Dementia. Thoughtful and compassionate. Services needed include: transportation, meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, companionship, feeding, bathing / dressing, medication prompting, mobility assistance, and help staying physically active. Preference for a caregiver who is female.
