Tougaloo College

I worked for two organizations in the Jackson, Mississippi area which include the Tougaloo Family Life Center and the John Wesley Bradley Educational Center which was located across from Tougaloo College Community. I started in January at the John WesleyBradley Educational Center where I was supervised under Mrs. G who was the Coordinator of the this tutorial after school program. I worked with students ages 5 to 16 tutoring Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Bible, Reading Comprehension, Career Objectives, Geography, and different other classes. The other organization that I worked for was the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training Program where I received my certificate of completion on October 23, 2009 under the trainers, Mrs. Ravin H. and Mr. Eric G. This organization started in the year of 2009 where we worked with middle and high school students in the Jackson Public Schools. As a group we met in the afternoons at 2:30 p.m. for snack in the Tougaloo cafeteria until 3:15 p.m. After leaving the cafeteria we walked towards the Gymnasium four days each week to get the students prepared for homework and tutorial sessions.
