My name is Matrisa, and I am 30yrs old. My husband and I had our first daughter in February 2016, and we live in Winfield. I am a teacher who has decided to stay at home to care for my daughter, but I want to stay connected to education and children byopening my in-home daycare. I have my teacher certification and I'll be completing my master's in Educational Psychology by December of 2017. I was a high school teacher for 5 years, and I have watched infants+ and tutored school age children for over 15 years. My ultimate goal for my in-home daycare/nannying services is to provide a positive, fun, and educational experience for children of any age. I incorporate skill building activities daily, and I can tutor almost all school subjects. The children in my care learn through structured play time and free play time activities. I also help my daycare children work on expressing themselves in developmental and age appropriate ways. I support the behavioral and developmental expectations parents have for their children in every way possible. Please let me know if you are working on transitioning your child to a new behavior or skill, and I will make that a focus as well!
