I am a fun, energetic person who has always dreamed of caring for children in my home. I have now reached the point in my life that I can live out this dream.
I believe that individual attention and low teacher/child ratios are extremely important, which is why I will only care for a maximum of 3 enrolled children at a time.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (ages birth through 8 years old). I started babysitting at the young age of 11 years old and cared for a newborn and 2-year-old. I continued to babysit for many years, and have experience with ages 0-12.
My most recent work with children was when I worked at a child care center where I was a Teacher in the Infant Room. I also have experience student teaching K4-K5 and First Grade. In addition, I have worked with children with special needs, and am open to caring for children with any special needs.
My in home child care is state certified and fully insured.
I am CPR, First Aid, SIDS and Shaken Baby Syndrome Certified. I also claim all income on my taxes, which means that you can get the child care credit on your taxes.
