On rainy or cold days, your child will still have plenty of exercise indoors through stretching and movement games. I offer the following curriculum: &quot;Family Child Care Curriculum: Teaching through Quality Care, second edition&quot;, which is designed to be used for multiple age groups as well as being aligned with the Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards. The curriculum includes a Developmental Assessment booklet for ages Birth to Age 5 which supports and meets physical and motor development, cognitive development, communication and language development, and social and emotional development. I also use the &quot;Ages and Stages Questionnaires, Third Edition&quot; (ASQ-3), which provides a quick check of your child's development to make sure they are developing well. It includes questions about your child's communication, gross motor, fine motor, problem solving, and personal-social skills and is designed to be filled out by you. It identifies your child's strengths as well as any areas where your child may need additional support. It is designed to illustrate what your child can do - not what your child cannot do. I provide open communication with families in an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect.The small size of my program means your child will receive more individual attention, which will help your child flourish while they learn and grow into the individual they are meant to be!
