Our new licensed facility is located just north of Rt. 4.
We offer care for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday by veteran providers, Marley T. and daughter Hedy G.,
with combined experience of over 40 years.

Toddler Program:

Goals of the toddler program include self care skills, such as feeding, dressing, washing and communication. Toddlers are not required to be toilet trained and the center provides generic disposable diapers. For children in the process of toilet training, we ask that they be dressed in clothing that is easy for them to take off and put back on. The child's individual schedule is adhered to as much as possible in order to make the transition to a group schedule gradual and natural.

The practice of sharing is a basic goal for young children and blends with a growing awareness of the surroundings--of others and of the environment--through imitation and pretending. Our aim is to guide and reassure the independent toddler in his/her own discovery.

Preschool Program:

The preschool program seeks to foster the desire to explore and succeed in the children, rather than to convey specific material. It is our purpose to provide a safe, orderly, and stimulating environment geared toward the development of each child. Above all, we want the children to develop a sense of confidence that will serve them as they progress toward more directive and structured environments.

The classroom is organized in to areas such as housekeeping, blocks and wheels, art, games and puzzles, and books and listening. Projects are intended to explore the materials and principals of our world. Games are designed to develop the skills of learning such as memory, discrimination, patterning, problem solving, language, and listening. Other skills we encourage are coordination, social strategies, self control, and decision making.
