Bright Beginnings Preschool

At Bright Beginnings our mission is to provide high-quality, safe, nurturing, and engaging early childhood programs for preschool children while supporting each unique family unit. We strive to allow each child to develop at his or her own rate with the goal of a successful transition into kindergarten and beyond. At Bright Beginnings we pride ourselves on having an award-winning Creative Curriculum that combines Reggio Emilia, Montessori, and Waldorf concepts to meet each child's individual needs. Our curriculum has been developed over 35 years and each year a team of master degreed, elementary school teachers continue to expand our curriculum with current and innovative educational insights.

Our picturesque Crozet location is conveniently located near Route 240 under the beautiful blue ridge mountains in historic Crozet, Virginia at the entrance to the Western Ridge subdivision. Many of our families live in the popular Old Trail neighborhood that is less than a 5-minute drive from our preschool.

Our Crozet location was completely renovated head to toe in 2017 with brand new flooring, classroom equipment, rugs, and lighting as well as freshly painted interiors - everything you can think of we remodeled! When you walk into our school you will see our beautiful lobby complete with a Director desk and parent lounge including a coffee station (our parents love bringing in their coffee cup in the mornings for complimentary coffee when they drop off their children!) Interior and exterior security cameras have also been installed throughout our building for administrative use.

The Crozet property includes a massive grass playing field and three age divided playgrounds. In the summertime, our children love to cool off outside on our splash pads for sprinkler play! Other fun things our children enjoy outside are "Grandma's Cottage" which is the cute building near our organic garden that extends the classroom into a new and fun interest area used by our three and four-year-olds. We are incredibly proud to be Outdoor Classroom Project - Level 2 Certified! We are Virginia's only Outdoor Classroom Project certified school - We have tents, tables, outside hand-wash stations, sensory exploration tables, and so much more for our Outdoor Classrooms.
