We are looking for a responsible, outgoing, energetic, and patient individual to engage in structured activities with our 3 children (Ages 9, 9, and 10) during the Summer school break. Our 10-year-old son has Down syndrome so an inclusive mindset is an absolute must. Having a reliable car, clean driving record, and CPR Certified is a requirement.

Our oldest son is special needs and is in a wheelchair.

Description/responsibilities: Care for family's 2 children (ages 10 and 6) mostly in the afternoon. Pick-ups from schools, transportation to after-school activities, oversight and help with homework and executive functioning/life skills, manage/oversight of children doing their responsibilities/chores, snack/meal preparation. Household management tasks may include keeping kitchen cleaned-up, including dishwasher load/unload and assistance with kids' laundry, help in starting dinner and making kids' lunches for next day. Qualifications: Must be patient, kind, good effective listener, open to feedback and growth opportunities, willingness to learn, servant leader attitude and energy to keep up with elementary aged children. Must have experience working with special needs children (sensory issues and Asperger/mild autistic behaviors).

We are looking for a great caregiver for 1 young woman with IDD in Waxhaw. We would prefer a woman who has their own car, who does not smoke, and who is comfortable with pets. Must be willing to swim. Training provided.

I just need some help with giving my son M some socialization and freeing up a little time so I can get things done. M is high functioning and is very easy. He has a great sense of humor and loves to have fun. I would like to find someone who will interact with him and challenge him socially (outings to the mall, parks, etc).
