Catherine was a dream nurse/caregiver! If we could have a full staff of Catherines, we might have been able to keep mom & dad at home. She is so smart, and so conscientious! She did an excellent job of managing my parent's needs, making sure all their needs were met on a daily basis. She managed their medications in a way that even the flightiest assistant would know to give my parents their meds on time, when it wasn't her shift. She's also a great driver, with a reliable car, so she was always able to get my parents to their appointments. She communicated well with us at all times, and was very easy to work with. I'll miss working with her. Although I'm the one who hired her, I quickly saw I didn't need to manage her, which made my life so much easier. She always saw what needed to be done, and DID IT! Too many caregivers aren't that aware of their surroundings, or try to leave tasks for the next shift. But not Catherine! I only needed to tell her once what her duties were.
