My 90-year-old grandmother lives alone in Chevy Chase, MD and no longer drives. 4 hours on Wednesdays (day is negotiable as well as exact hours) I need someone to drive to her, take her grocery shopping in your vehicle, run laundry in the basement so she doesn't have to carry things up and down the stairs, and aid in any other little tasks she needs.
For example of a day, see below.
Meet grandma at 11 a.m. in Chevy chase, start her laundry, take her to the kosher grocery store and possibly the pharmacy to pick up her meds, and then return home. After that you'd need to keep the laundry going and do any small tasks she needs such as helping her put away dishes, sweep up, and put away groceries.
As grandma gets older and needs more help, the position may have increased hours. If you have that freedom then you will be first choice.
