Our facility is located near Merrick train. Easy drop off and pickup. Hours are 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Our beautiful, clean, center holds 6 weeks to 5 year olds. Our Program is unique because our infant care is like nanny care. There is a 2-1 ratio. Yes we are a little higher in price than the average daycare center but you will be happy knowing your infant is in the best care you will find. Our toddler program through Pre-K is all about love, learning, good social skills and education!!! I always say to newcomers go look and see other daycare centers. I find it better than paying for advertisements!!! So come check us out!
Precious Kids is very well known for the care that is given to every child here. Center operates like a private school without the cost.. There are eleven children in each room.
Children learn much more and feel safer. Each room is designed age appropriate curriculum. Our infant room is very unique may cost a little higher do to the 2-1 ratio. a true 2-1 ratio..As a mother of 3, I feel its impossible to give what is needed in a 4-1 ratio. The worries and guilt new mothers feel leaving an infant are very stressful. Our policy is that any new client can speak with previous and present clients. Precious Kids has an open door policy. So come check us out. I promise you will not be sorry!!!!

We now have a wait list, our infant has opening June 2018. Please call in advance.

The environment is very clean, well-lit, and overall a very happy environment. The staff truly knows our children (we have an 11 month old and a 2 year old there). Our children are absolutely flourishing--Our daughter even starts singing songs at home that she learned at Precious Kids. Our son is always engaged with the staff in the infant room and we can see how much they truly care about him. We love the staff and they are always available to update us on our children. We highly recommend this warm, friendly and stimulating environment.

Elite Scholars Christian Academy

52 Forest Road, Valley Stream, NY

Costimate: $276/wk

Elite Scholars Christian Academy is committed to creating a well-rounded, comprehensive instructional program that s designed to promote social, academic, physical and moral growth needed for the children to be prepared for their transition to Kindergarten.

Toddler (Ages 12mos-3): Our toddlers are offered a variety of opportunities to explore their world through play. Gross motor skills and social skills are developed through both structured and unstructured play. Their days are filled with music, art, dance, story times and more.

Preschool (Ages 3-4): Although it may seem like fun and games to preschoolers, the curriculum we follow is packed with educational elements. Games abound that teach pre-reading skills like phonemic awareness and letter and sound recognition; basic math concepts; and hands-on science exploration.

Pre-Kindergarten (Ages 4-5): The Pre-Kindergarteners focus on reading, early writing, and basic math. Foreign language, science, social studies, art, music and physical education round out the learning.

Elementary/After School (Ages 5-12): School-age children are given a quiet environment for homework and projects, with supervised access to computers and assistance as needed. Also available to elementary students are crafts, games and physical activities.

Elite Scholars is a loving, caring Christian environment where a child is nurtured and supported as they leave home and go off to school. It is in this environment that we tenderly lead each child we serve, to adjust to being away from home while at the same time, help them learn social skills for life.

The Program is also about the task of developing academic skills that will prepare our students for Kindergarten and for life. We feel solid, fundamental education is vital for our students and if those skills are taught at any early age, they are more prepared for future learning.

We have the desire to lead our children to be healthy for life. Along with the social and academic skills, we promote physical skills as well. The students are taught small and large motor skills.

We believe that the Bible is our most important moral guide to life. Thus, students are taught stories from the Bible that enables them to see what behaviors are proper and pleasing to God. This is by no means the last or the least skill taught to our students.
