My daycare service is a home based drop-off daycare center. My home is outfitted to house, entertain and care for two children. Your child will have access to a fully baby proofed and loving environment with my own nine month old daughter as a friendly and sociable playmate. My home has a dedicated playroom with two cribs for cozy and refreshing nap times. I live just two blocks from a beautiful park with a wonderful playground. Whenever the weather is permitting, I will take your child for fun walks through the park and provide them with some great outdoor fun and exercise. I absolutely love children and I am excited to have another little one to care for. My hours of operation are very flexible and I will be able to care for your child at your convenience. I plan on maintaining only one steady client, so your child will have my full attention. Having only one client will also ensure that there will never be a problem with conflicting schedules. Ideally, I would like to find a working family that needs daycare for their child on a regular or semi-regular schedule. I will provide all the love and care that your child needs, but I will be requiring that my client provides all of the necessary food, formula and diapers that their child will need throughout the day. My home daycare center is located in the charming and lovely brownstone area of Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, near Fort Greene Park. Thank you very much for your consideration and I am looking forward to hearing from you.

We often see wildlife- foxes, deer, rabbits, squirrels, lizards, birds- in the woods behind our house, and sometimes in our yard as well. We have one cat, Phoebe. She is indoor/outdoor and uses a dog door. She is current on all vaccinations. Proof of vaccination available. Adventure Playgroup: I have opened up my home for three children, ages 3.5 to 9, to join us on our daily adventures to the park, forest school, playdates, and theme based field trips! I belong to an active, secular, homeschooling/unschooling community and we take part in daily outings with mixed age children. This is the perfect opportunity for parents to focus on self-care, while your child spends the day with peers in an environment with a low teacher/student ratio. This program is a fee based, drop-of, family coop, not a home daycare. I believe in fostering strong relationships with the families that I work with. We work together to educate our children and empower our families. Together we create a village for our children to grow up in. We go on daily outings, learn through play, and follow child led learning. I practice gentle, respectful discipline and model social/emotional peer skills. I allow the children to play independently, assist them with self-help skills and peer interactions, when needed, and facilitate play activities which are loosely structured around The Homegrown Preschooler curriculum themes. I have a play area and a front yard that we use for picnics, water play, and gardening, when we are not on an adventure. I am looking for other laid back families who would love for their child to join our family on our daily adventures and nature play. There will be lots of mud, bugs, and scraped knees, so if that sounds awful, it's probably not the best fit. Hours: Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm Additional hours available, upon request. Rates: Contracted Slots: $65 per day/per child $60 per day/per child for 3 or more contracted days Drop In Care or Short Term Care: $80 per day for one child, $96 for 2 children (hourly care is also available on some days, depending on our plans that day) Additional hours: Additional hours needed, outside of your 8 hour slot, are $15 an hour THIS HOME IS A LISTED FAMILY HOME. IT IS NOT LICENSED OR REGISTERED WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF FAMILY AND PROTECTIVE SERVICES. IT HAS NOT BEEN INSPECTED AND WILL NOT BE INSPECTED. The state charges a yearly fee and background checks everyone living in my home. I have a commercial auto policy that covers my automobile for transporting children. I drive a 2006 Kia Sedona minivan.

Trinity CDC has always been more than just a child development center; it is a community of people from many generations devoted to learning and growing together. We value our history. In the mid 1960s the school was started by a Presbyterian church. In addition to the children s instruction, the founders felt physical, spiritual, and social-emotional development was instrumental to the holistic growth of a child. In 2001, when the Presbyterian church could no longer support the center, the leaders decided it should become a stand-alone non-profit center. In 2015, the leadership worked to develop a statement of values to replace the original religious statement. They felt it was important to continue the legacy and state what is important to Trinity CDC. Trinity Child Development Center (TCDC), an independent and incorporated 501(c)(3) organization, originally opened in 1964 as a morning preschool program during the school year. As the needs of families in northeast Austin have changed, TCDC has evolved to caring for children full-time and year-round. Flexible schedules are offered in order to support the needs of parents with alternative work schedules. The center serves a diverse group of children in terms of ethnic background and socioeconomic level. TCDC is in the same location but the building has a new owner, the Austin Mennonite Church. TCDC has an excellent location next to the Windsor Park Branch Library and near two elementary schools. Our grassy courtyard has large trees and two separate and beautiful age-specific playgrounds. TCDC is licensed by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services. In 1995, TCDC became a designated vendor with Texas Workforce Child Care Solutions, and has held its highest rating since 1997. In 2001, TCDC became an NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) accredited institution. We admit without discrimination in favor of or against any child on the basis of race, national origin, religion or challenging conditions.

We are a licensed half-day church children's day out program in Northwest Austin open from 9 am to 1:30 pm for children 18 months to 5 years old, Monday through Thursday, September to May and on Tuesdays and Thursdays in June and July when we also add a summer program for children who have completed kindergarten through 5th grade! We are a ministry of St. Mark United Methodist Church and began as a two-day program many years ago! We are now a licensed childcare center through the Department of Family and Protective Services. Our building is brand new after a renovation that lasted 2 years. We moved "home" in May 2015 and are really enjoying our shiny, new building! Our staff and teachers are educators who have a love and passion for teaching and enriching young lives and believe that getting paid is just a small bonus for being able to serve God's youngest children during these important formative years. Most of the teachers have college degrees (or equivalent experience). The director has served for 24 years as either director of this program or in full time children's and youth ministry! She brought her own young sons to this program when they aged into the program at 18 months, and was a board member, teacher, and then director officially in January 2009. The preschool is lead by a parent and church volunteer board who does the hiring and planning for the school, making the tough choices on when to raise tuition rates and when to reward teachers and staff with pay raises! The school is play based understanding that children learn best when they are enjoying the learning component. The curriculum is planned and shared weekly by the lead teachers in each classroom after a school year based calendar is distributed each August. Each classroom is never more than a 12 students to 2 teacher ratio. This is a great time to join our school as we enjoy a brand new building, an amazing playground with lots of room for small children to roam and explore, and an exceptional staff and currently enrolled students! Check out our recently new and improved website and schedule a tour today! It will be a blessing to be a part of the St. Mark CDO family!

Cultural Care Au Pair

1016 Lakewood Hills Terrace Austin, TX

14 mi

I'm Laura, 20 years old and I was an Au Pair in Austin, Texas. Unfortunately, I have to leave my current host family and now I'm looking for a new place to stay with a great family. I'm from Germany, I'm kind, lovely and I love to spend time with kids. I have a lot of experiences with children and I love to see how they adventure and explore the world, and learn new things every day. Back home in Germany, I took care of a 6 months old baby (I saw her growing up until she was 5 and took care of her and her 2 years old younger sister). I fed her/them, changed diapers, played with them, went out for a walk with them to the playground, explored the big world with their little eyes, gave them a bath and brought them to bed. Here in Austin, i took care of three kids with the ages 3 months, 18 months and 3 years. I really love to see how kids develop new skills and growing up, and enjoy to go outside with the as much as possible. Also, Austin is the perfect city to get out with kids. I would take them outside to the playground, to story time in the library, the children's museum or just socialize them and go on play dates with them. I live in the states since almost 5 months. I'm here with an agency which is called Cultural Care. The program guarantees flexible childcare with a cultural exchange for each part. Furthermore, I would get paid on a weekly bases, which would be 195.95$ and could work for you up to 45 hours a week. Also, there is an agency cost, which you pay once a year. the program is for one year. That means the Au pair could stay with you for one year unless she/he doesn't extend a second year. I'm here since almost 5 months, so I just would've 7 months left to stay with you until my year expires, but I'm also able to extend up to one year and stay with you longer. I would live with your family and help you out with your little ones as well as I do small things in the household, like removing and filling the dish washer, cleaning the kitchen and the toys, taking out the trash, doing the laundry and cooking. Furthermore, I speak German fluently and I would love to bring my culture closer to your children and teach them my language, if you would like me to do that. If you're interested in me and maybe a live-in nanny, I can tell you a little bit more about the program. Let me know, if you have any questions and don't hesitate to contact me. I would be more than happy to hear from you :) Regards, Laura
